The Best Keeps Getting Better
I've exclusively used Pitaka cases for my personal phones since 2018. In that time I've seen an improvement year on year in the build quality and level of protection provided by these cases. Pros- • Slim, sleek build but still providing top notch protection. • At less than 100g, it won't feel like you've got a case on your phone. • Texture of Aramid fibre weave provides good grip so the phone doesn't slip. • Tough build will take brunt of fall damage on concrete from 1.5m. • 2024 case has unpainted camera ring making wear over time less aesthetically noticable. • 2024 colour ways have more options than ever. • Pitaka ecosystem provides complete solutions for car mount, charging and protection. Cons- • Cost. This is relative of course, but these cases are not on the cheaper side of phone cases prices. • Camera ring on previous models was painted, so over time scratches would reveal the metal underneath. I dropped my 15 Pro Max on the corner of the phone the other week and the Pitaka case took the impact in it's stride! The level of protection provided by these thin cases is quite astounding! As you can see in the video, the Pitaka ecosystem is vast. All the latest iPhone cases still work with my PITAKA Qi2 car mount and the magnets are strong enough to keep the phone attached even on the roads we have here in UK. I like that Pitaka have ditched the black camera ring and opted for what I think is an unpainted ring. Scratches on my 15 Pro Max case started to become unsightly. If I had any complaint it would be that Pitaka don't have a line of privacy cases that cover both cameras. If and when these become available I'll be first in line. In closing, I've tried many different case providers over the years and none have come close to the level of build quality, sleek design, protection and compatibility across a range of products as Pitaka have. The price is high, but you wouldn't put 80 octane petrol in a *insert super car of choice here* so why would you skimp out on your expensive iPhone? IF you're in two minds, take it from me: just get it! If you have any issues, after sales support is fantastic. I previously had an issue with the case not fitting but customer service were very swift to fix the issue. You won't regret it. Hell you may even become a fan boy like me!

Slim, Strong, and Stunning: Why the PITAKA MagEZ Case 5 is the Perfect Minimalist Choice
After using the PITAKA Magnetic Case (MagEZ Case 5 – Tactile Woven, Over The Horizon) for about a week, I can confidently say it’s one of the best lightweight and slim cases I’ve tried. I specifically chose this case because I wanted something that wouldn’t add noticeable bulk to the iPhone 16 Pro Max — and it has delivered exactly that. In hand, it almost feels as if there’s no case at all, while still offering reassuring protection. The “Over The Horizon” woven design is stunning. It immediately sets the case apart from more typical options, offering a visually interesting and highly premium look. The aramid fibre material feels smooth yet tactile, providing excellent grip without feeling rough or textured in an unpleasant way. The craftsmanship is immediately noticeable; it feels incredibly well-made. One of the standout qualities is the weight — or rather, the lack of it. The aramid fibre construction makes the case feel featherlight. When fitting it to the phone, it genuinely feels like applying a thin, precision-engineered shell rather than a bulky case. Once on, it’s almost imperceptible weight-wise. The fit and finish are flawless. I didn’t need to use the included fit pads — the case snapped on perfectly and holds the phone securely with laser-precise alignment around every edge, corner, and cutout. Every port, button, and speaker is perfectly centred and spaced, showing PITAKA’s high attention to detail. Compatibility with accessories has been flawless as well. I’ve tested USB-C cables, MagSafe adapters, and charging stands, and everything has worked exactly as expected without any issues. Although I haven’t dropped the phone yet, the case inspires a reasonable amount of confidence. There is a slight lip at each corner, allowing the phone to be placed face-down without the screen touching the surface. That said, the lip is subtle, so while it should protect against minor debris, heavier impacts or rough surfaces might still pose a risk. Another major positive: the case doesn’t attract dust, lint, or dirt, unlike many silicone cases I’ve used previously. After a week’s regular use, there’s been no buildup around the edges, and all gestures and button controls remain smooth and unhindered. I actually prefer the cutout-style camera control access to the typical button overlays many cases use — it feels more natural. In terms of durability, the case holds up extremely well. It doesn’t easily show scratches, and while it can pick up the occasional grease mark from eating or handling, a simple wipe easily restores it to a pristine state. What I love most about the PITAKA MagEZ Case 5 is how it manages to maintain the natural, premium feel of holding the iPhone itself while offering enough grip and protection for daily peace of mind. I wouldn’t change anything about it. Who I would recommend it for: Anyone who wants the look and feel of a “naked” iPhone but isn’t ready to go completely without protection will find this case to be the perfect solution. It’s an excellent balance of aesthetics, functionality, and premium craftsmanship.
