Cute contemporary story
Camping with no gadgets. Our little one is not yet old enough to understand the message of enjoying the outdoors without "gadgets," but it's a fun story about Llama Llama camping with his friends. Good story with colorful illustrations. Great introduction to the camping experience.

I LOVE all of these books, and this one is just as adorable as all of the other ones in the series. This one worked great for a camping theme birthday party!

Adorable Story and Perfect for Young Readers
quickly become a favorite in our house. The story is fun, lighthearted, and captures the excitement (and challenges) of trying something new. It’s written in a way that is easy for kids to follow, with the same playful rhyming style that makes all the Llama Llama books so enjoyable to read aloud. The illustrations are colorful and engaging, bringing the camping trip to life on every page. My kids love pointing out the details in the pictures and following along with Llama Llama’s adventure. What I especially appreciate is the gentle message woven into the story. It shows that even when new experiences feel unfamiliar or a little scary at first, they can turn out to be fun and rewarding with the support of friends and family. It’s a wonderful way to encourage kids to try new things. The length is just right for bedtime reading, and it has become a go-to choice when my kids want a fun story with a happy, cozy ending. Overall, this book is adorable, well-written, and a great addition to any child’s library, especially if your little one loves Llama Llama or is getting ready to try camping for the first time.
