Very impressive
I would have liked to replace my broken iPhone 7 screen with an Apple original part, but Apple charges £152 for this which is almost as much as the phone is worth! So, with some hesitation, I went for this copy screen at a fraction of the price. It arrives with tools and clear instructions, and also a magnetic board to safely hold the screws as you remove and replace them, which is nice. And the screen itself is very impressive - works perfectly and sharpness and brightness are good. In fact I think it would be very difficult to tell the difference from the original.Installation is a bit challenging, especially removing the adhesive and transferring the home button. It took around 40 minutes. My only criticism is that there is no replacement adhesive seal to go around the new screen - it would be nice if this were included. But this can be purchased separately (which I would recommend).

Best screen I’ve ever fitted..
Packaged perfectly. Tools supplied were excellent, not cheap but good quality, Also included a small invaluable magnetic mat to keep your screws all in the right place, So important to put right screws in right places. The screen itself was great quality and worked perfectly, you will almost certainly loose your home button function but this is an apple issue and nothing to do with the replacement screen.Although there are cheaper screens available on eBay my advice is forget them , pay an extra 3 or £4 and use this company. I have bought cheap parts of eBay but please trust me this company’s parts are superior. Icing on the cake was when I registered my guarantee I got a £5 Amazon voucher !!!. Safe to say I will use Youdoit in the future...

Dull colours & screen failed after two days.
The iphone 7 screen arrived with all required tools and even a magnetic mat to help with screw identification. Instructions included, but very small text and hard to read, so I recommend using the instructions from a site like iFixit or similar. It isn't a particularly hard job (I've changed a couple of iphone 5 screens and batteries previously), just be patient and be very careful when transferring the home button.Upon booting up the phone I noticed the colours were very 'muted' and dull compared to the original screen. I wasn't impressed and wanted to return, but my son was just eager to have his phone back so we decided to live with it. However two days later the screen just went completely black/blank, so we have now returned for a full refund.

Good kit, did the job, couple of small things; and be warned, it's fiddly!
I like this kit a lot -- it came with the tools you need (crucially the tiny "Y" shaped screwdriver -- you'll never get a couple of the components swapped out without this specialist tool, so be warned when considering any screen-only kits) and was well-presnted and professionla looking.Basically it went well, and I was able to get the screen swapped over in an hour or so. Thoughts on the product overall:- I love the magnetic project planner / screw holder. Really great. These jobs are so fiddly and screw organisation (even just trying to avoid losing them!) is really hard. This is an excellent bit of kit -- simple and effective.- The tools were decent quality, sufficient to do the job (I have my own tool kit from years of doing similar DIY tasks but, except for a magnifiying glass, I didn't need to use it).- The screen itself looks good enough from a quality point of view. I feel it's slightly bluer than an original Apple screen, but this is pretty subtle -- especially since my family breaks them quite often anyway. You can put up with it compared to the hundreds of pounds you'd spend on a new phone!- The one downer was the screen protector that came in the kit. It was OK, but it didn't go on that well and the punch-out bits that cover the ear-piece and camera were fiddly to get out without damaging the adhesive of the whole thing. I've seen better screen protectors, but it'll do.As I've said when reviewing other mobile spares, and no reflection on this kit at all, the job is very, very fiddly. There are gotchas at every turn (such as taking care not to ping off microscopic screws so that you never see them again; or getting the old screen off due to the adhesive on it; or the fragility of the ribbon cables that you MUST NOT BREAK; or the fiddliness of reconnecting the connectors -- tricky stuff!). I urgently recommend people think seriously before undertaking this screen replacement -- if you're not used to doing this type of thing you might find it very difficult. However, it's do-able, so if you go for it, good luck!

Quality Product
Had to use a metal pry to get the iPhone 7 apart, the plastic ones that come with the kit we’re ok once the metal pry did the initial opening. Otherwise the screen , tools, instructions are of good quality. I laid out a white pillow case to carry out the replacement on, could have done with a jewellers glasses as the screws are miniscule. The magnetic mat is a great idea and ensures all screws are returned to their original threads. I would say that a hairdryer is essential to soften the seal prior to opening the phone and lifting the ribbon connectors. The fault became obvious once open, one of these connectors had simply snapped. It looked like it had been snagged between the body and screen faces probably during manufacture.I took my time, lunch, tea and smoke breaks included it took 3.5 hours. The result, a perfectly functioning iPhone 7. I would recommend this product.
