Avene Redness Expert Soothing Moisturizing Concentrated Cream, 1 Fl Oz

Years ago, my dermatologist recommended this line whenever I had a problem with redness. The redness occurs when I spend time outside, even with sunscreen & a hat. When I perspire it irritates my skin & poof, redness. I started using this, once I found it on Amazon, & this really helps to relieve the pain, discomfort & burning sensation. It has a cooling affect on your skin. Until I found this brand I simply suffered until the irritated skin healed. I apply this at night, especially after being outside & sweating & the redness is gone in the morning. I plan to use this until I no longer need it.

I've always had red irritated skin on my face but this has been great! Other lotions made it worse and I hoped it would get better. This is no irritation nothing...

I’ve had beautiful skin my entire life. People stopped me to ask me what I used. Took excellent care of my skin. I became an esthetician, Cosmetologist and owned 2 day spas. Fast forward years late 50’s and extreme stress caused rosacea. Dermatologists said nothing will help! Used Avene lip, eye cream for years so I thought I’d try the Redness cream and sensitive skin cleanser. 2 uses later after cleansing my face with their sensitive skin and applying the Redness cream I saw Red spots. Not pimples spots everywhere especially on top lip. Woke up this morning and my top lip is swollen! I have a pouting bottom lip and the top lip is so swollen it is over my bottom lip. I’ve haven’t changed ANYTHING else. I’m also not a sensitive skin person. Do Not recommend and can’t even say how disappointed I feel from Avene even afraid to use their Eau thermal water spray now. Sad

I’m prone to redness and this is product is excellentA little goes a long way and it makes my skin feel great

This is kind of moisturizing and I think it kind of reduced my redness, but for the price and the size of the container I am going to have to pass. There are better moisturizers out there.

Doesn't flare up my rosacea but does not reduce redness either. Less moisturizing and runnier than Antirougeurs FORT, which appears to be discontinued. Also dislike the bulky packaging. The squeeze tube took up less space in my travel bag.
