Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Star Wars Episodes I to III. - If you've seen the films, then you know the tale. Annakin Skywalker grows up to become something else. (Spoiler alert if you don't know the story). Engrossing yarn brilliantly told, and even better than the films. More details and characterizations. Great treat for the fans!!😎 Review: Perfect - The phantom menace book is brilliant, the attack of the clones book is amazing and the revenge of the sith book is perfect. I often found myself putting the phantom menace book on hold as I needed a break from it. It’s pacing was brilliant and everything but there wasn’t much added to it other than the spacer and tusken raider. The attack of the clones added a lot more and was really enjoyable, Anakin and Padme’s relationship was done to perfection in it with even a few jabs at the poor writing from the film. (I loved the prequels by the way) Where Anakin has a tantrum and Padme makes fun of him acting like a kid. Revenge of the sith is perfect as it adds so much more to the already amazing story. We see it told from Dooku’s perspective, Padme’s, Obi-Wans, Mace Windu’s and obviously Anakins. We also get a glimpse into other little arcs and it also retcons some questions about the film itself.

Two out of three ain’t bad
A terrific read and fills in a lot of gaps that the films can’t really fit in. The first two books were exciting reads and I loved them. The last; not so much as I could not get into the rather long-winded, clumsy, and clunky writing style and I skim-read most of it.

The Prequel Trilogy: Star Wars
It’s great to have all these stories in one volume. Beautifully written and exciting to read, with interesting background information that the films don’t cover. My favourite in the volume is the final story, Revenge of the Sith, which is also my favourite movie from the prequels trilogy. I hope you find my review helpful.

Books arrived in brilliant condition and on time they were not damaged which is always a worry with books. My son is now really enjoying reading this saga

A Star Wars epic. Hugely powerful at times thought provoking. The best book in the original trilogy. A great read.

This is what Star Wars is all about! It has action, emotion, and deep meaning, and it ties together so many pieces of the overall story. I put off reading it since I didn't like Episode II, but I'm really glad I came back and gave it a chance! As a Christian, I can see many parallels to God and the devil, good and evil. But even for someone who doesn't believe, this book is a fascinating study of psychology and the deceptiveness of evil. It leaves me actually feeling sorry for Anakin. When the Episode I movie came out, I wondered why they started with him as a nine-year-old boy, but there are many points in this book where he's still that little boy. He's a naive boy struggling in an adult world. I don't know if that was the producers' intention, but that's what I took away. That doesn't excuse all his evil actions, past or future, but it does help explain why Padmé and Luke say there's still good in him. I've finished all of Episodes I-VI now, and the story feels complete, but I still plan to read some of the Legends books too. I just hope they're as good as this one!
