Very sturdy. Son in law stood on it. He is about 150 lbs. Very cute stool.

JUNK !
This the WORST example of RTA "furniture " I have ever received . Two of the four legs would not screw together -- the threads DID_NOT_MATCH ! .... and the mounting plates were all mal-formed -- when finally assembled ( after replacing two of the 4 studs to match threads ) they were basically " bend to desired angle to make the stool stand straight . This is an embarrassing bad product ! Not safe for children or adults as a stool ! I don't know what other people are experiencing, but I know that I received JUNK ! If the manufacturer thinks that I have only received an odd-reject, I would be willing to compare what I have to what product they consider "good," but for now I can only think that I have been cheated with a BAD product !!!

worked great
I got this to place my dog's food dish on top. He was laying down to eat when I placed it on the floor. This worked perfect, I just put a rubber mat on top of the stool and his dish stays in place.

Legs are easy to install and very sturdy. Very nice little stools - I plan to use them to hold up a shelf by the window

A good stool
I use it to hold a blueva ropotlite reverse osmosis water filter. It fits perfectly allowing the filter unit to rotate but not fall off.

Excellent little stool but very sturdy, I’m an 8st adult and feel very safe standing on it

Terrible stability
This stool is not safe! Its too easy to tip over. Me and my child have fallen numerous times. Its also slippery. The legs dont stay screwed in. I threw it away.
