MMSK-BK Weighted Shift Knob, with 3 Thread Pitch Inserts to Fit Various Vehicle Models, Black Steel

Just installed this on my 2012 Mazda Speed 3, haven't been able to drive it yet but gave it some go through the gears and it feels good. It's got a good weight too it so throws feel nice, it's got a good smooth finish no sharp edges or any of that. It's somewhat stylish in a minimalist kind of way. The installation was simple, it came with 3 different sized threads the middle size matched my shifter perfectly. It screws down nice and snug. The only problem someone else might have is that the knob is fairly tall so if you have a short throw and like the feeling of your shifter being lower this will bring it up a bit. Overall it's a nice knob that doesn't cost a a fortune.

I absolutely love this shift knob. I put it on my 1990 Miata Track car and not only does it fit well but it makes driving and shifting a joyous experience. There's just no comparison to the stock shift knob or the cheaper imitations. The weight of the Mishimoto is just right and it causes the shifts to feel confident and accurate. Also, it's large enough to where you can find it without looking at it but small enough to where it's not bumping against your dashboard. -Great feel for a smooth transition from wheel to shifter. -Weight is just right for accurate and smooth shifts. -Looks amazing! I got the black and if anything, it makes the rest of the car look bad! You won't be disappointed with this shift knob. When you factor in the plethora of adapters which come with it on top of its perfect feel, you should have no problems fitting it to your car so you can get back to driving.

Looks fantastic and feels much better than stock. I drive a 99 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro and while the OEM shifter was great and needed no improvement I decided to try something different. This knob is more than just different, it's an improvement! For the price, it's the best modification I've done to my car. Gear shift to 1st from neutral feels almost as good as just pushing up to the 3rd gear gate now. Heel toe downshifting feels a bit longer since the knob is taller than OEM, but the benefit of having a taller knob allows more leverage AND let's not forget... it puts your hand closer to the steering wheel. If you're into track driving or canyon carving this knob puts you at an advantage. BTW push down reverse feature is not compromised and the knob fits right in with the rest of the silver chrome accents in my car. 5th gear engagement doesn't seem to go out to Pluto, like I thought it would. So overall I have 0 complaints with it, just check out my pictures!

It came in the package slightly scratched and the Amazon bag was already opened, the shifter feels very smooth and heavy. The shifting into gears is smoother and the shifter looks cooler than my oem shift knob. Worth the 50$, but it’s the packaging needs more cushion so that it doesn’t damage the knob…

the shifter fit right into my subie with one of the adapters, the extra weight plus my perrin shift bearining and stopper makes the shifter feel AMAZING. I started with the bearing and shift stop then after a few months bought this and i do not regret the switch at all. The extra weight adds smoothness to the shifts and i find the longer shifter much more fun to play with. I have two concerns and one is not necessarily bad. 1. the shifter is stanced slightly higher than normal, i have the sti short throw so it was still somewhat low but it will raise the height a decent amount unless you made other modifications to your shifter. 2. in the heat, this shifter gets hot. very hot. i grabbed it full fist in 103 degree weather and oof did that hurt so proceede w caution in the heat, givin my black interior the car gets very hot. def recommend the price is also very low compared to other aftermarket shifters

Firstly, straight out of the box I thought someone made a mistake and sent me a toy shift knob. This thing is TINY compared to the stock knob. After installing it, I have no complaints. The smaller size makes it much easier to maintain grip without slipping (I'm in Louisiana, so it be hot y'all). I wouldn't have thought a smaller knob would have been a good fit, but I was completely wrong. 2014 Focus ST..... Fits and looks great. (I did have to also buy a reverse lockout bushing to go with it). Definitely recommend this product!

Very well machined shift knob. Its surprisingly heavy for its size. Entirely met my expectations. I am using it in an e36 w 325is its only a few mm higher than the stock shifter and covers everything the stock one did as well but the weight makes way more of a difference than I thought it would. Shifting is noticeably smoother I keep finding myself pushing it with only 1 or 2 fingers. It is made to fit mostly Japanese import vehicles so I had to improvise its attachment. It is securely placed with three #209 o rings as pictured . 5/8 od 7/16 id and 3/32 thickness which I bought 10 for only a few dollars at my local hardware store. I figured the stock knob is only held with a spring clip and easily removable so a few o rings provide about the same amount of friction and I never feel like I'm in danger of it flying off in space it holds tight with No play or rattle.and is a joy to use. Tldr excellent looking and feeling shift knob which is easily adapted to use in a euro car with a few o rings

I bought a different shift knob earlier though Amazon and it was not good so I returned that and got this one. This product is excellent. It has good weight to it making my shifts alot smoother and feels more solid. It is as many reviews have stated taller than that I am used to. Essentially making it a long throw shifter but surprising I don't mind it. I just hope next revision they make the height adjustable for people who prefer it to be shorter. But that being said I think this being taller actually made my shift more accurate and smoother. I would definately recommend this product. Goes well with the shift boot I also bought from Amazon.
