They come charged and ready to go. They are also easy to charge and work well. They beat lighting matches or the cheap plastic lighters that are sold these days.

I love these! This is my first time using this type of lighter. I'm using them to light citronella candles outdoors. They came already fully-charged (4 LEDs lit). They are so simple to use. I wasn't paying too much attention to how long the charge lasted, but I'd say roughly somewhere between one and two weeks before I had to charge the one that I was using for the outdoor candles. It charged fairly quickly also. Features that I appreciate are the auto-shutoff after a few seconds (from a safety POV), and they work quickly and efficiently. I like that you know how much charge you have left also from the lit number of LEDs. The price point for four different ones seems very reasonable. Each came with its own very short charging cable (sort of a negative), so on their own, they are quite giftable. Hopefully, they will last a long time, but for the immediate time, I'm very pleased with them. The only downside, so far, is that either the very slight noise or maybe it's the "stick" element alone (who knows) seems to scare off my neighbor's cat -- she runs as soon as she either sees or hears the small "sizzling" sound when you turn them on. I suppose, to an animal, this would be a disconcerting noise if you had no idea what it was! But, she also ran away when I reached for the regular butane-type lighter so . . . who knows?

Easy to use. Im not running out of lighter when cooking, very safe to use because there’s a lock button . Highly recommended can even used for gifting especially for upcoming holidays. This is a good find

Great lighters for people who have arthritis! No lock! Can start your Coleman stove, vintage trailer stove, or whatever needs a 'clicker'. Much easier than a butane clicker and the batteries are rechargeable. [Do not use speed chargers! Can ruin the lighter battery.] One of mine would not charge, but a great product!

These are great to have in the car, by the firepit, your grill, camping, or in the RV. Quick charge, get in the smallest spaces. Inexpensive and great to give as a gift with the candle.

I bought a set for myself after buying these as stocking stuffers. I mainly use them to light candles. The electronic charge does not burn when touched but will burn paper, light candles and other objects. Lighters charge quickly and last over a month in a charge.

Love these! I purchased to try and have since then gifted one to a family member as well. They are great to light candles as well as a gas stove. Nice alternative to buying those Bic lighters for the same purpose. And they charge with a USB cord as well. BTW depending on how many you purchase there is the same amount of USB cords included in the box. Nice convenience and no more purchasing disposable lighters!

These are excellent for what I do! As a gasfitter, I regularly relight gas appliances. Sometimes this means trying to make a source of ignition in a tight space around a corner and down a tube...... Which can be really hard with a conventional match or BBQ lighter. Even the fancy bendy torch lighter style blow out while I'm trying to navigate the maze of burner tubes and combustion chambers. But this electric spark ignitor is by far my favorite so far. This is even better than the Piezo electric stick. I used for years and years before it eventually broke down. Now I can confidently just shove the spark in the area and wave it around like a maniac until something catches. Super happy with this one. 10/10
