Transit Workpack Pro 28L

This is my second purchase from Bellroy, and once again the product did not disappoint. The Transit Workpack Pro is well-designed, stylish, and highly functional. It keeps everything well organized, whether for daily commutes or short trips, and the build quality feels durable and premium. I previously bought a laptop sleeve from Bellroy, which also served me well. Both products clearly show the brand’s attention to detail and thoughtful design. That being said, the price is on the higher side compared to similar products from other brands. While the quality justifies part of the cost, I think Bellroy could be more competitive in pricing. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend Bellroy to those who value premium design and organization in their everyday carry.

Ich habe den Bellroy Transit Workpack Pro ausprobiert, nachdem ich bereits den normalen Transit Workpack kannte. Der Pro bringt einige sinnvolle Verbesserungen mit, überzeugt mich insgesamt aber nicht vollständig. Positiv ist vor allem die überarbeitete Fronttasche, die jetzt von oben erreichbar ist. Das macht den Zugriff auf häufig genutzte Gegenstände deutlich praktischer. Außerdem ist der Tragekomfort durch die zusätzliche Polsterung spürbar besser. Gerade bei längeren Wegen oder höherem Gewicht macht sich das bemerkbar. Weniger gelungen finde ich dagegen das Gesamtkonzept des Pro-Modells. Für meinen Geschmack geht ein Teil des minimalistischen Designs verloren, das den normalen Transit Workpack auszeichnet. Die vielen zusätzlichen Fächer wirken eher etwas frickelig und machen den Rucksack unnötig komplex. Ich bevorzuge die einfachere und klarere Aufteilung der Standardversion. Auch die Farbauswahl gefällt mir beim Pro nicht so gut wie beim normalen Transit Workpack. Die verfügbaren Farben wirken auf mich weniger attraktiv und tragen nicht unbedingt zum hochwertigen Gesamteindruck bei. Wer mehr Organisation und maximalen Komfort sucht, wird mit dem Pro wahrscheinlich glücklich. Wenn man jedoch das minimalistische Design und die unkomplizierte Nutzung des normalen Transit Workpacks schätzt, ist die Standardversion meiner Meinung nach die bessere Wahl.

I really love it. I have had this for a good half year and it has been very useful very functional. I carry a laptop, an ipad, a portable monitor, a mouse, a keyboard, and a tech-cable bag along with other miscellaneous things and a water bottle. It really is rare to find a good workpack that fits all the stuff i carry along with me. Two gripes: 1. the magnetic check buckle is too thin and it kind of digs in to the chest, also it sometimes snaps on by itself (magnetic) and you get caught off guard. I pretty much removed it two weeks into using it. 2. The side pocket (not the waterbottle side) zipper catches on its own fabric and if its caught you are going to spend a good ten minutes and an insane amount of patience to try to get it out.

Absolute piece of garbage. The side zipper gets stuck very often, and is a ridiculous hassle to get unstuck. I’ve torn skin off my finger just trying to unstick it. Can’t return bc it’s been used, so I’m stuck with this trash. Will be buying another brand next month. Avoid this terribly designed bag. Complete waste of money. Will never buy Bellroy again.
