Hardware build is decent. LACKS LIBRARIES and EXAMPLES specific to device
Seems to be great but waveshare examples suck and software drivers are as important as hardware!!! The dithering they use or supposedly use in the examples comes as a .exe so guess us with Linux are out of luck! They didn’t even go as far as writing good examples or drivers for arduino or espiff just some terribly copied examples of other displays and hats for raspberry pi python. Which means you don’t get full use of out the expensive “full color”…. If waveshare writes and releases good libraries and examples specifically for this model and HAT then I will change my review but until then I expect more out of a trusted company and for this price !!
