Really enjoying the lights
Really cool lights. Strong build quality. Good idea for the usb c adapter. It fits into the portal easily then it's simple deal to get the system charging.I like the price and the fundtion. It's clearly the best charger in the class.

Official charger? Yes please
Works great, pretty lights which you can toggle on and off. Perfect fit for portal and charges up normally, don’t have to worry about it catching fire since it’s officially licensed.

Nice, easy to use unit.
Charges really well. The portal slots in easily. I'm not too bothered by the pulsing lights, but if you like that kind of thing, you'll enjoy it.

Looks cool, charges your Portal, that's about it
It charges your Portal magnetically using a USB accessory. Sometimes it's hard to find when placing the portal on the dock. But it looks cool and is officially licensed, so I do like it. Build quality is great, lights are great, charging could be faster though

Well Built and Looks Great
Build quality feels great. It has a bit of weight to the base along with rubber feet to help keep it from sliding around. The magnetic usb-c adapter is nicely engineered to prevent wear and tear by reducing friction from connecting and disconnecting a usb port. Instead it just sits on the connectors to get a charge. The LED light pattern can be changed by just touching the back of the stand and rotating through the options. You can also tell if the portal is charged at a glance according to the LED light (dependent on your LED light setting you selected). It feels very sturdy with the Portal docked. Overall a nice way to display and charge your portal.

Best overall PS Portal Charging Dock
I have tried a couple & this is the perfect PS Portal charging docks. The fact that it’s not a consensus 5.0 means nothing is meant to be.Dongle fits nice and secure & serves as an easy guide to dock. Most importantly, charges at the fastest rate possible (14% to 83%) in one hour. 2 hours total from empty to full. Others I’ve tried do not charge as fast in comparison to a USB C cable connected directly to a 20-30w power brick. The lights are a nice touch & can be turned off. Others have mentioned that the dongle is hard to remove. You’ll need to turn the Portal upside down & remove by putting fingers on both sides & pulling away, since it’s a secure fit. The removal on other, similarly designed docks is more difficult (due to the smaller dongle(s), where you actually need pliers). The base of the dock has nice weight to it, too. This is the only first party charging dock & best overall IMO. It’s also the most expensive.

A thin case will cause it not to work
It boggles my mind that this was not made to work if you simply have a thin plastic/rubber covering on your Portal. This accessory is only usable if you don't have a case for your portal and that's crazy.Shame I already opened it up and can't get a refund now. It's absolute useless as a product.
