Just started reading this book and it appears to be an easy read with lots of information. I am glad I purchased it

Well made and better than expected.

This book offers a lot of additional questions for a deep-dive into the CoDA recovery program. Some of the ground is already covered in work assigned by my sponsor, but other areas aren't, and those additional questions are thought-provoking and helpful.As a general warning, don't go into CoDA alone, even if you have experience in other types of recovery. This one is deep, emotional, and *hard*. A sponsor is vital, and attending meetings to hear others sharing their struggles and progress has helped me tremendously on this journey. Learning to trust others with our secrets and our truths is as important as working the steps. I'm fortunate to have a CoDA group in my area, but they can be hard to find.Honestly, I don't know anyone who couldn't benefit from CoDA work, because it's all about re-evaluating ourselves, our behaviors, and our relationships, and moving toward being healthier in all of those things. If you're questioning whether CoDA is right for you and can't drop in to a meeting, this book is a great litmus test of what you could get out of the program. The more discomfort one feels with the questions, the more likely it is that the work would probably be incredibly helpful. It's good medicine, difficult as it may be to swallow.

The workbook thoroughly explains the Steps with very good questions.

This book helps me see the boundaries in the traditions, and start applying them in my life. This is the book to do the hard work it requires to free yourself. Highly recommended!!!
