Comparing the H4 with the K4 (spoiler alert, H4 wins)
First off, I will say that no matter what head strap you get, you will have some pressure on your head. The choice is, however, whether you want that pressure mostly on your face (K4) or mostly on your forehead and a little bit on your face (H4)?Personally, I prefer the pressure on my forehead as it is more tolerable for me. That is why I prefer the H4, and returning the K4. With the H4, I feel that I have more adjustment options. Many reviewers stated that the H4 is too loose, especially when compared to the K4, however, I feel that the H4 was plenty stable. Additionally, you can configure this headset to press against your face as well, to give you that K4 feel if you enjoy those super intensive and workout apps. However, for all games I played (shooters mostly) I was able to adjust the H4 with minimal pressure on my face and still able to react quickly and look around quickly in the game without feeling the headset was loose. With the K4 that I used exclusively for about a week, I would get painful pressure on my cheeks within about 20-30 minutes. This also affected my ability to close one eye when aiming snipers and would fatigue my face rather quickly. This happened even when I tried to put as much pressure as possible on the top strap of the K4 to shoulder as much of the load as possible. I do appreciate though that the K4 has a more "integrated" charging cable, where the H4 cable pretty much just goes from the battery pack to the Quest externally. But this is such a minor detail that has no affect when the headset is on.Another win for the H4 is that you are able flip up the headset without any adjustments and see your surroundings when in a game, something that you cannot do in the K4 as the pressure on your face is what keeps the Quest on. The battery seems to be the same on both, and adds about 2-3 more hours to the headset for a total of about 4-5 hours. Another positive (for both the H4 and K4) is that the charging input is at the back and bottom of the head strap making it easier to enjoy the Quest 3 while charging, as opposed to coming out the side of the Quest 3.Ultimately, I personally feel the halo style head strap is much more comfortable, allowing for longer play sessions without much discomfort.

Comfortable. Long lasting battery.
Box was damaged, received a small refund on the item. The item itself was fine and works great! Very comfortable. The battery + charged headset lasts 3+ hours, depending on whether you are streaming or using the headset to play.

One of the most comfortable battery head straps
Updated review: May 13, 2025After a month of experimenting with various head straps, I remain impressed by Kiwi Design. This head strap is one of the most comfortable battery head straps available at an affordable price. I would recommend it and rate this product four stars.=======================================Updated review: April 10, 2025I reached out to Kiwi Design and Amazon customer service. I intended to give them a 5-star rating. Amazon customer service allowed me to return it for a full refund. Kiwi Design acknowledged that there is potential for improvement in both the design and manufacturing of their products going forward.=======================================Reviewed April 05, 2025I have been a fan of Kiwi products and decided to purchase one based on numerous positive reviews. However, I am disappointed to report that the arm broke after only three months of use. I primarily use Meta Quest for virtual desktops through Immersed or Meta Horizon Workroom. I kindly request a refund.

The key here is 'no pressure'
There are many head straps out there, but one thing this one is special is the 'no face pressure' feature, which a lot of people seem to have misinterpreted. This H4 is one of the few that can be set in a way that the visor does not need to cause pressure in your cheeks and forehead, which is the most annoying and tiresome part of wearing a VR headset. The H4 can be adjusted to fit as a helmet, and there are sliders and a wheel to adjust the visor's desired level of pressure and its angle. If you play a game that does not require a lot of sudden head movement, you can adjust it so the visor barely touches your face, which is perfect for long, adventure games. If the game requires a lot of sudden head movement, you can adjust it tighter, as tight as a regular head strap if you wish, but not necessary anyways. People that found this H4 a loose fit may have missed the two sliders that adjust how separate the visor is from the face. I'm happy I selected this one over the K4 because removing the face pressure is the most important aspect of comfort wearing these VRs. It also helps with ventilation.

Cheap plastic holding Quest broke!....2ND PAIR!
So for reference I bought the non-battery version of this halo strap and with that one I was willing to give Kiwi the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe I was too rough with it. SO I decided to get the upgrade since I had a coupon and A LITTLE OVER 2 WEEKS LATER! Same part broke, I was gently with the headset and everything! the plastic support holding the Quest 3 snapped I suspect to stress due to it being plastic not designed with constant pressure in mind. If this was made out of stronger plastic or metal it would hold better. I tried to fix it with super glue but then wondered "WHY DO I HAVE TO DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE?!" Such a shame, I bought Kiwi products in the past thinking they were well built. Turns out they are no better than the rest of the no brand Chinese crap we see on here. I will not be buying another Kiwi product in the future.

One major flaw!
One major flaw. When the headset is off it constantly draws power from the battery. This will drain your extended battery even when the unit is off. This could have been easily been solved by having a on/off button on the extended battery. The only other solution is to unplug the extended battery from the headset when off.
