Kingdom Hearts 3 Deluxe Edition (PS4)

I’ve been waiting to play this game for years and the recent releases of Kingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5 and 2.8 could only keep me entertained for so long.Kingdom Hearts is one of those game series that rewards players for exploring its worlds and as such, it is still early days in my gameplay but my experience so far has been nothing but positive. The worlds that you visit are so much larger and more expansive than in previous games, with characters populating the environments and you can overhear their conversations , making them feel like they are actual places rather than simple levels.The graphics are amazing and the environment designs are beautiful, particularly when compared to their appearances in previous games, with Twilight Town looking far more realistic compared to the cartoonish look it had in KH2. The cutscenes are gorgeous to look at, and scenes from films such as Tangled effortlessly meld into the Kingdom Hearts theme where Sora and company participate in the film’s storyline.Combat offers a wide variety of options that are improved from previous games, ranging from basic melee and magic spells to team attacks, different powers provided by what weapons are equipped and the new attractions feature. There’s even a new gameplay gimmick where you are able to take photos within the game, which is a fun feature.This deluxe edition came with a the game and a standard case, a Sora character pin, a steel disk case which is very nice and an art book that is 35 pages long and the same size as a Blu-ray case. There’s a foreword by the director Tetsuya Nomura written in both English and Japanese, and artwork of the weapons, character and environments that will be experienced within the game.I highly recommend this game to Kingdom Hearts fans, we’ve been waiting a long time for this, and I cannot wait to see where the storyline takes me.

The deluxe edition comes with the steelbook case AND the standard artwork case so you get to enjoy the amazing artwork still. The box came in perfect condition with an exclusive Disney pin. and the artwork book is a nice addition for any collector. The steelbook fits nicely in a PS4/bluray tower as well.I have only played the game up to Olympus coliseum (first world) so far however can say the graphics are amazing. Square Enix have put a lot of work into this, the music is enchanting and the visuals during combat are stunning. They have given kingdom hearts the attention it deserves and I am sad that this may well be the final entry in the series. Here's to hoping for a ground up remaster of the originals!

The game itself; amazing. I'm a long time fan of the series and it's really great to be back on a whole-numbered game, and all the new combat editions make it so much more fun than before.Knocking offa star because honestly the deluxe edition isn't really worth the extra money. The "art book" is really just a little pamphlet the put a hardback cover on. There's barely anything in there, and what is there can be seen a lot clearer online. The pin is okay, but as someone that collects enamel pins it doesn't seem of the highest quality.Also they give you two boxes for your game for some reason. So you get the actual regular cover box, plus a steelbook. Seems unnecessary

Game came in perfect condition, and I also received the game on the day of release. I have only played upto the toy box level but the graphics are AMAZING it was well worth the wait. I loved that the game came with the box art it is so BEAUTIFUL. Thank you Square Enix for the FANTASTIC experience, I can’t wait to play the rest of the game. The Deluxe Edition was so worth it.

Having waited a long time for this game, it doesn’t disappoint. A brilliant end to the ‘dark seeker’ saga for long time fans, lots of new Disney/Pixar worlds for Disney fans and for new players a chance to be introduced to the world of Kingdom Hearts.

Game aside which is truly amazing in my opinion 5*/5* I originally bought this game through amazon as they were promising a special DLC keyblade by pre-ordering the game through them which i did not receive. After contacting amazon they said that I had to take this up with Square Enix and when i did they responded that it was not their issue and that I should contact amazon. It seems like I will never get this keyblade but that aside it is truly a great game.

Worth the wait, polished wonderful game

This edition is worth the money for all Kingdom hearts fans. The extra book even has the timeline explained in the first pages. The pin is also well made and the steelbook is simply one of the best ones I own. Great game in general. 5 stars from me.
