Nice unit
I bought this to replace my miller 875 that was in the shop for repair after about 4 months of waiting I got this unit. Miller could not fix my 875 they seam not to care if it got repaired or not. I have three millers and will never buy another unit very disappointed with their service. I am very pleased with bestarc plasma machine it cuts as good as my old miller.it is already for my cnc table.at under 500.00 compared to miller over 4000.00. Check it out.

Good plasma
This plasma works pretty well, have used it for hand cutting and is currently on my CNC table. I am running at 90ipm on 14g and get very clean cuts. Good buy

Bad unit
Arrived fine, but the PT/PA button didn't work so I couldn't set the arc time. Side of the case was bent slightly, and the screen was loose at the top. Could not light an arc at all, despite dry air on either 110 or 220. Something was rattling inside. Very disappointed. I would be willing to exchange but I got it on sale and Amazon doesn't do exchanges on sale items, just returns. Now the price went up.

Perfect for CNC
I have been using this plasma cutter with Crossfire Plasma CNC with torch height control and it has performed flawlessly. Never had any kind of problem. It costs about 1/3 of other CNC type plasma cutters. It has external connections the Crossfire uses so I did not have to open up the chassis to make any.

Appealing price with ability to cut thick plate and go CNC
So far it cuts very cleanly on rusty and dirty heavy steel plate without any issue. I have not hooked it up to a table yet that's the next step. I own several plasma cutters but the price was appealing on this one. Is it as good as an American Lincoln, Hypertherm, Miller etc.. no.. it isn't (you can tell by the build quality and durability on the torch but those were 4 times the price) I have found the consumables to be way cheaper than any American brand. If your using it as a hobbyist or light shop use I think its fine. Availability of parts or service-unknown

Nice Plasma cutter
Nice unit. Works as expected. I have not hooked it up to a plasma table yet as I do not have a plasma table at this time but hopefully I will in the future.

I use this on my Arcdroid cnc. Works great with a small amount of wiring.

I love the concept of plasma cutting and thought maybe I could use the full potential of this machine. It would be best used with 220 power, but it will cut lighter guage no problem with a 110 plug in and great for doing the metal bodywork on cars

Seems to cut nicely on the couple cuts I've done so far on 3/16". It does have an small-medium air leak inside as soon as air was connected. May have to remove cover if it gets worse.

I am SUPER HAPPY with bestarc plasma cutters. I have two and use the BTC500XP on my simple 4x8' CNC. BE AWARE THOUGH!!! The "often bought together" -suggestion for the consumables is WRONG This torch is a IPT40 and requires the copper tips that don't get threaded in. The manual is kinda crap for this sort of thing, but it's in there. Highly recommend the machine though. 1/2" is the comfortable max thickness on 220v 50amp and 80psi 0.9mm tip (not included). Definitely recommend 0.8mm tips (included) for thin stuff and the 0.9mm or 1mm for anything over 1/4"

Blew me away. With 220 volts it cut 3/4 plate. I would recommend a good compressor with a 3/8th line. Wery happy.
