Rugged, tiny, reliable in the sun, wind, & rain.
1.10.2019 update: Approaching 2 years of regular use now and this trusty umbrella is doing just fine. Yay.Note: This review is for the "Ardeco UV" 2-layer umbrella with a rectangular handle that was originally sold on this description page—not the single-layer Ke.movan umbrella. I have also purchased the single-layer Ke.movan, but its construction design and materials are different and feels less durable, and it does not block sunlight completely. Hopefully, Ke.movan will offer their superb Ardeco UV model again on this page. - Andrew--A very durable and tiny umbrella. I've been using it for several months now. There are a bunch of other brands that sell ones that look the same, but this one I can confirm is built tough. True story: I bought this because my friend had purchased a gold-colored one made by another company. And while they LOOK nearly identical, we were both walking outside in 15-20 mph wind and his *snappp!* broke a spine (near the tip, where these are all plastic for flexibility). Mine survived just fine. Sure this was an "n=2" event (he may have purchased a "lemon") but still. The white version keeps me very cool in the sun (much cooler than a conventional rain umbrella), does not get soggy in the rain (good water-repellant material), and fits in my back jeans pocket with room to spare. The only feature I'd like this to have is wind vents. Otherwise, a perfect bit of portable micro-shelter!Disclaimer: I paid full price for this umbrella on Amazon and am not affiliated with the seller, manufacturer, or Amazon in any way.

Good for little hands too
Great umbrella. Easy to open and close for my almost 6 years old. To close it you only pull it closed, it doesn't have the piece to push in and your finger gets stuck in it, lol.Not sure yet how it will hold in the rain but I needed one easy to open and close and this is great plus the red color is nice too! It folds compact and put it in the side pocket (where the bottle fits) of his backpack.

Worthless for a real rain
I got this to use on a vacation to Europe. Yes, it's compact, but that's about it. It's so tiny it barely covers me and I'm a small woman at 5'3" and under 120 lbs. I decided not to bring this on vacation and thank got I left it behind. We hit a deluge of rain on our trip which didn't spoil our vacation, and thanks to the REAL umbrella I got from the cruise ship I was nice and dry. If I'd have used this umbrella I would have been soaked and miserable. Use this as a sunbrella or if the rain is so light it's close to a fog, otherwise forget it. I would have returned this item, but by the time I got back from vacation the return window had closed. Oh well, I guess I have a sunbrella now.

LOVE IT!!
This umbrella is awesome. Took it to a summer festival with the aim of using it for shade, but we wound up getting a slight drizzle so it came in handy for both. Super compact, great quality (survived a surprising amount of wind the day it drizzled), and it's like you're under the stars when you chill with this thing. LOVE IT!

Love it!!
I bought this umbrella for a sunshade as we do a ministry cart in the city. I absolutely love it! Although, the black on the top of the item is more of a shiny black (almost like the look of a black trash bag color which was a surprise as I was expecting matte black), but I love the mint green!! It works perfectly and I absolutely am in love with the little bag it comes shipped in as a carrier and the umbrella clip/holder that comes with it. Great combo deal for the price and very durable. I use it all the time. I have not used it in the rain yet, but I don't imagine it would be good in a storm - suitable for a light shower though.

A very nice fan
This is, indeed, a very compact umbrella. It unfolds to be easily big enough to protect one person, and part of a second. LOLIt is also a very pretty color.Like most of these fans, it is frustratingly difficult to get it back into it's case.

Did not hold up to light use!
In less than a month one of the metal canopy arms has broken. Used only for sun cover up. It’s never been wet or in the wind; it broke closing. I thought it felt flimsy but I kept it, in hopes it could manage sunscreen exposure only.... But hey, love the color and still using it to block the sun on my long walk into work.

It's a very good deal.
For the money, It's a very good deal...there are no surprises: this is a tiny umbrella and it is very compact (both in length and girth),If these are not reasons for buying this umbrella over another one, and payinglittle for these features, you have unrealistic expectations and/or are not aligningyour needs and your choice of umbrella.
