DOES NOT WORK
This thing is the dumbest trimmer head I have ever seen. In theory it may seem like a good idea but in practice all that happens is the ring around the outside prevents the grass from being pulled into the cutting blades. When the grass is finally able to get to the blades all that happens is it slides to the outside against the ring and either gets ripped out of the ground or just begins to build up and slows it down so much that you have to stop and clean it out constantly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Great for edge trimming
Like the you can get close to vinyl picket fence without damage and use as edge trimming along walks, driveway, and curb. I’ve worn out a of the outer rings cut them completely off and used steel cutting blades as heavy weed cutters although probably not recommended by manufacturer.
