MANIC PANICAmplified Semi-Permanent Hair Color Atomic Turquoise

so i was very upset that sallys store ran out of manic panic atomic turquoise. too much time passed and still they didnt get it in stock, so i was fed up and i decided to get on amazon. i came across atomic turquoise amplified. i never knew about this kind of turquoise. it was a few more dollars, a bit expensive but i decided to give it a go. first, i bleached my hair with ion color brilliance 40 volume developer. i used the whole bottle with ion color brilliance bleach two small purple packets for on and off the scalp. so i mixed all this together to do my whole head. this includes roots and all the rest of my hair. i will post pics on amazon i will be the one with the sea green hair color and blondish white hair at the roots. my hair is way lighter than the picture shows. after i bleached my hair with the products from sallys. i used manic panic virgin snow and it took out a lot of yellow tones and made my hair whiteish. very blonde yellow white color. when i used atomic turquoise amplified the first time, my hair was damp, wet so maybe thats why the color didnt stick. i was very dissappointed. it came out pastel color. like a faded washed out light turquoise teal color. so a few days after that i made sure my hair was dry. i put the atomic turquoise amplified dye on my hair a second time using my fingers and put it in the areas of my hair where i wanted. i put a clean supermarket bag on my head since i ran out of hair caps and left on about 3 hours. washed and conditioned my hair with loreal shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair and finally the color stuck to my hair, it was sick, lol cool looking, edgy. it was a true sea green, turquoise, teal color. i always wanted sea green hair color so thats why i gave it 5 stars cause i really dont like that blue turquoise color for my hair. i prefer the sea green color that it turned. so if you can get your hair blonde and use a toner maybe this is how it will turn out for you. maybe you will like the sea green turquoise teal look :-) and the best teal dye is n rage demi twisted teal. if you mix n rage demi twisted teal with atomic turquoise manic panic you will get amazing results. :-) it saves u money too since manic panic is watery and n rage is too thick. when you mix these colors you can stretch out the colors and save money.  Manic Panic Amplified Atomic Turquoise 4oz

I've used a variety of brands when it comes to dye. But I've got Manic Panic down to a science. First off, I use the "no-poo" method of washing my hair. (Google it) Basically I only use apple cider vinegar to clean my hair. Shampoo will leach the dye out of your hair. Not using it means my color lasts and is vibrant for months on end.Secondly, you have to bleach your hair first. No matter how light your hair is, you want to bleach it so it's porous enough to absorb the dye. This will also make your color last longer.Finally, after I put the dye in, I wrap my head in plastic wrap, slap on a shower cap or old hat and leave the dye in for about 24 hours. Manic Panic is highly conditioning so this will actually improve your hair rather than damage it.The quality does seem to vary from color to color. Cotton Candy Pink and Lavender Blue did not adhere well to my hair, despite all my effort. However, Atomic Turquoise came out spectacularly and has held its color for two months now. It looks like it did the days after I dyed it. I get tons of compliments and I absolutely love the way it looks. I just ordered a new bottle and a bleach kit to do my roots. There are a million "funky color" dyes on the market, but Manic Panic is the old favorite for a reason. It WORKS. And it's cruelty-free to boot!!! What more could you ask for?

After several months of entirely pink, long hair, I had to dye my hair back to my natural color (medium brown) for work. But, I missed having color too much, so I lightened a section under my hair and have been using different colors there ever since. This color took very well to my hair. It came in a bottle instead of a tub, as pictured, but oh well. The product itself is more important than the container. I left it in for several hours -- usually I'll leave it in while I sleep, but I was too excited to see how it turned out. Manic Panic Amplified doesn't usually bleed too much when I shower, although there is always some amount of bleeding simply because I like really hot showers and don't really care enough to rinse my hair in really cold water just to keep in the color when I can easily touch it up. For a more lasting color, I find that putting a small amount of the actual dye in your shampoo/conditioner helps revive it every time you shower, but I haven't needed that as much with this line of products. I'm generally not a huge fan of Manic Panic, but so far my experiences with their Amplified line have been all positive.

I've bought this multiple times. Sometimes it comes in a different bottle but both are 4oz.I wanted to save money and stain my own hair. Got it professionally bleached and then used this color. Great results! I consistently get a nice greenish-blue. My hair doesn't bleach very well, so I was expecting it to be a little greener. But the color was bluer than I expected! I really love it and have gotten compliments. One time, I re-dyed over a dark blue and got a cool teal color.You really have to saturate the parts you want stained. Wear a shower cap and leave it on for an hour for best results. Some people complain that Manic Panic doesn't stay very long. I usually re-dye every two to three weeks. That's long enough for me. It also stays on longer the more times you re-dye. Takes me a while to get through the whole bottle. I like the way it fades, turns kind of silvery...Anyway, love the product. Give it a shot.

I have been colouring my hair blue for almost 3 years. It was initially bleached but I did't like how dry my ends got so stopped bleaching and decided to keep topping up blue every few months to my lightened hair and dye black my brown/grey roots. I wasn't able to buy my usual blue dye since Covid outbreak, my hair turned into mix of grey/brown,green, washed out blue so I was desperate for strong colourant. Decided to try Manic Panic Amplified as temporary solution until I can buy my usual dye. It was very easy to apply to my hair, didn't stain my skin badly like other products do, very little smell at all so I was able to have it on my head for 5 hours to set it really well. Rinsed off easily and didn't stain my bathtub. I have applied conditioner and let my hair dry naturally. My hair was left soft and shiny, very impressed. My dark roots are now midnight colour as this dye given it beautiful black/blue shade, my faded blue/green ends are now dark turquoise so exactly what I wanted. Nice and even coverage. Slept on white pillowcase, colour didn't transfer at all, not even on my white t-shirt. 4 days late first wash, expected loads of die to bleed but there was hardly any blue water in my tub. I always use cold water and Colour Protect Low Shampoo + conditioner to keep the colour vibrant for many weeks. This bottle was just enough to saturate well my thin, shoulder blades length hair. For thick hair I would definitely recommend using 2 bottles just to be on a safe side. Will definitely buy again.

Super fast delivery when stated would take 3 days. Was here next day. Expensive hair dye to be honest but that’s the brand really. Amazing colour pay off tho so I always use this brand and is hard to get hold of . Will most likely buy again

Pretty crappy coverage. Used the whole bottle and it's still barely taken. And this was just supposed to re-colour my hair! I was already a washed out blue/green. Only bought because my usual choice has been out of stock for months. It's not the worst dye I've ever used, but it's not good either.

Colour turned out amazing! (I pre bleached my hair) colours are vibrant and is long lasting! Will be using this again. (Oh also im male)

Applied on bleached hair, turned out electric blue rather than turquoise, and stains the hair a lot, hard to get rid of.
