See my review of the Ultra Series 100 Watt Dual Temperature Full Size Hot Glue Gun with Auto Shut-Off. The tips are nice, but not necessary unless you have a very specific need.

I got these to go with my new glue gun and I absolutely love them! They are super easy to change and they work really well. I have used all of them for various projects now. I am so glad I found my new glue gun and these. I definitely recommend these especially if you do a lot of different crafting.

I purchased these nozzles to use with my new Surebonder Dt-3100F dual temperature glue gun. The green silicone cover and the nozzle at the bottom of the photo are the original items that were on the gun. The long one on the glue gun in the photo is the small round replacement nozzle. The instructions tell you to heat the gun for 5 minutes then unplug before changing nozzles. They don’t tell you why but this is due to the fact that the nozzle on the gun is “glued” to it while the gun is cold. You need to warm up the gun so the glue in the gun is pliable and you are able to remove the current tip. DO NOT try and force the tip off cold!! (In the last photo you can see how the glue hardens in the tip.) The instructions tell you to use heat resistant gloves, a wrench, long sleeve shirt, etc etc. I had none of these (except glasses). I removed the green silicone tip cover, then warmed the gun as instructed then used pliers to turn the bolt holding the original nozzle on. DO NOT TOUCH THIS!!! IT IS HOT!! 🔥 I then attached the new tip to the nozzle adapter and attached them to the glue gun using my pliers and not over tightening. Voila! Ready to plug in and use. I was not able to figure any way to reattach the green silicone nozzle tip so I just left it off. The narrow tip was what I needed to get into some small areas of a Mould I was using to make flowers. It worked well. I have not used the other two tips in the package yet. I gave this a four star because I could not replace the green silicone tip protector and the replacement nozzle dripped ever so slightly, where as I had no drips with the original nozzle, and I think the instructions on changing the tips should be clearer. All in all a good product and I would buy it again.

They are not strong. My smallest nosel broke

They were great until the SureBonder glue gun started clogging. I had the glue gun less than 6 months. I don’t think the tips were the cause of the gun clogging.

I've always had problems with my glue gun expressing too much glue, but since I put the smaller cap on its so much easier and I have more control. Works great!!
