Castor Oil 16 Fl Oz (Glass Bottle) - Original - A Huge Glass Bottle with a Pump - 100% Pure and Natural, Cold Pressed, and Hexane-Free - Hair and Body

Have used this and found some relief. My neighbor suggested rubbing castor oil on my arm to relieve numbness and pain (neuropathy) that radiates down my arm. At first, I tried pushing on/releasing trigger points thinking that was the culprit, but it didn't help much. After looking for organic castor oil, we found this, which has a nice squirt top that works perfectly to dispense the oil without making a mess. It's a very thick, viscous oil, and once rubbed in, I lay a heating pad on low, over my arm and wrist for about 30 mins. It has been almost 3 weeks and I notice a SIGNIFICANT improvement. My neighbor said it took over a month for her to notice the difference, so I know it IS working. I did some research and found that some people do not expose to heat, which makes sense, because it may break down the properties. After all, it IS in a brown bottle to protect it from the elements. Regardless, very happy with the results so far. Am I an official on skin care or castor oil? No. But I can say it feels SOOO nice to not be in that constant pain and numbing feeling.

This was my 1st time buying this brand but definitely not my 1st time buying castor oil. This brand is a bit thinner than my usual brand but I think if it wasn't then the pump wouldn't work. So far the pump works well (using it less than a week)- I will update if that significantly changes. There is also a stronger odor than I've smelled in castor oil before but it isn't terrible and doesn't really stick around. Texture wise it feels pretty much like other castor oils but just slightly thinner which isn't a bad thing unless you want it particularly thick.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've never used castor oil before. Have been using it on my face and body and it leaves it so soft. You may need to pat it down a bit as it is oily. This brand is a great quality! Comes in a glass bottle with pump. To start the pump, do not put in bottle before twisting it a bit to open it then insert. I had no problem doing it this way.

Value for your $$$. I love that it comes in a glass bottle as all natural oils should, I also love that you get a pomp with it as well.The smell and feel of this oil is the same of the original I grew up knowing.

The smell is not pleasing but it sure delivers on moisture. Saw a YouTube where an older woman was raving about all it's uses. So far I've just used it on my hands and body. I understand you can oil pull with it. That's not for me but may be for you? Cheap and you get a lot in the glass jar with pump. Smell is like sunflower seeds? I put other lotion on top but I imagine it makes more sense to put it on top of your lotion to lock it in, much like Vaseline or aquapfor.

I was surprised by this oil because I saw reviews that said it wasn't pure, but now that I have it I can say that it is totally pure, it is of superior quality, you have to mix it with other oils because it is very concentrated, thick, it comes in a nice box and it is made of glass, I recommend it, I mix it with almond oil and use it pure on dark circles.

This oil is light and not heavy on the hair or skin.It has a light scent nothing to strong !! This was a great purchase for the money.My skin feel super soft and it moisturizes my loss very well.

I love this castrol oil! It has alot of great benifits. And it's lasted awhile. I will definitely buy this again! Great price for a big bottle
