Better than the other swithces that I tested. Quality finish and functionality. This switch does not add any color and the loss of output is very minimal or I can say negligible. Very userful for every audiophile to compare between to amplifiers to evaluate performance of two differnt brands of speakers instantly. In my case I was comparing and evaluating my new Yamaha A-S801 amp with my vintage Denon PMA-720 using a pair of KEF Q350 and a pair of Klipch RP600 M-II. It is so convenient and handy to switch between amps and speaker pairs while not changing your listening position , using the remote. Also gives a good look to your rack with the UV meters. I will definitely recomend this.

This adds a great visual dimension to listening to music, it’s worth that alone in my opinion. As far as the switching function, it works flawlessly, switching between 2 amps and 2 sets of stereo speakers by remote control or manually. As far as I can tell on my hi-fi setup (nothing super fancy but definitely not cheap either) this unit is dead transparent, except for the audible click from the relays within the unit itself, which sounds like powering up a surround sound receiver. I was reluctant to make the purchase because I thought this was a lower quality product but I wanted VU meters. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, feeling solidly built in a metal chassis with a decent finish. My two complaints are that the screen will not go into the deeper shades of blue manually, only in rotating color mode and although the VU meters are very pleasant to watch, I can’t seem to get any accuracy out of them. It is at a great price for what it does as a switcher and visual entertainer, it’s just not an accurate, blue colored VU meter.

For anyone who A-B compares Amps to 1-2 sets of speakers. Lighted VU meters and remote. Also has a albeit front mic to measure room power. VU meters are adjustable and color of the back lights. Clean and professional looking, great for speaker builders who wants to compare amps to your new builds vs reference set. Gold plates connectors on the rear.

Purchased so that I could connect a surround sound amp to the front two channels of my higher end 2.1 system. This device fits the bill perfectly for that purpose. Third piece I've Purchased from this brand. I really can't say enough good things about Douk as a whole because every piece has exceeded my expectations. UV meters are neat, you can select different accent light colors. Works perfectly for me.

I really wanted to like this, it’s really a nice looking, and well built piece of equipment. It also has the features I was looking for. My biggest complaint is the needles only move when the mic is turned on, even though it has speaker connections. The speakers passing through this does absolutely nothing as far as making the needles move. I bought this for my surround sound just for looks, but if you have a tv stand like I do, where the receiver is underneath the tv you have to turn it up really loud, so the mic will pick up noise. Since I watch tv with my surround sound on, the needles don’t move because the volume doesn’t register through the mic due to where it’s placed on top of my receiver. If I play music it has to be turned up really loud and even then there is a delay with the needles which bothers me. If it worked like I thought it did, passing through and picking up the sound signal, I would have kept it. It just didn’t work for my setup.

First one had one v-meter not working, Amazon sent a new one immediately. Now is fine, nice looking, product has a a good quality. Relais, resistor and connector are fine.

I originally left a negative review on the Douk VU3 because the vu meters stopped working after a short time. I just discovered I wasn’t using the correct power block. It’s working perfectly now. You have a good selection of colors for the meters and 4 levels of brightness. I use the switcher so I can play 2 sets of speakers through a pair of mono block amps. If you run 2 pair of speakers at the same time make sure your amp/amps can handle the ohm load or you can seriously damage your gear. I think you get a pretty good value for your money.
