I recently purchased the WYZE Cam OG 1080p HD Wi-Fi Security Camera, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home security setup! Defective item received. Within return window no replacement support provided
I received a camera that doesn't work. Is still within return n replace window. The chat window that opens on selecting replace doesn't provide any resolution other than technical trouble shooting. Amazon and vendor no one is reachable. finally call gets connected on the last day of eligible returns, and they refuse to acknowledge 6 days of chat history. And Amazon declined to replace, even though within return /replace window. Not worth buying, based on the terrible customer service interface

An improved "Original Gangster" camera. Good quality, good price, WiFi accessable from anywhere.
The Original Gangster. Good (improved) vision/resolution. I bought one for inside the garage, and one for inside the grand kids bird house (didnt want a camera that moved and scared the birds - this just sits still up on the ceiling and watches. And bonus, turns out birds dont see infrared light, so having that on to see better in the dark does not bother or harm them. Wyze cameras are generally inexpensive WiFi cameras and good quality. I have one that is NOT an outdoor camera, but I mounted it up high, close to the soffit on outside the house, covered it with a Tonic plastic bottle, and, believe it or not, its been going strong for 3 years, and even survived hurricane Ian in Florida! Back to this OG: Solid camera, no bells or whistles (does not rotate or track), just good, solid picture. There are other minor issues like false alarms on detecting motion, but you can adjust how sensitive it is. I like being able to use phone to see whats happening at the camera.
