The first time I got one of these that could be monitored on an app a few years ago it didn’t really work. I gave it another try with these long enough ago to rate them and they work perfectly. I’ve had mold remediation so I have to monitor the humidity in several rooms in my house, including upstairs and man this makes it so much easier. I have yet to go upstairs and not find that the humidity was exactly what the app said, and I’ve had absolutely no problem with the app at all. For some reason the built-in hygrometer gauge in my dehumidifiers shows a higher humidity than these do, but I’ve lined up all the many kinds I’ve got, and these units are actually showing closer to the true humidity and temperature as they are all close to the same readings and they will record the temperature and humidity until you reset them, which is convenient. I recommend these..

Does excactly as advertised. Connected easily to my iPhone. Make sure you use the correct APP which is easy to get by using the scan code in the manual. I also have the older TP350 which uses the same app. All three show up on the app. App is easy to use. I am using these to better balance my hydronic heating system.

I bought a 2-pack of the TP359 hygrometers/thermometers back in April of this year and have been very pleased with their accuracy, ease of use, and remote monitoring capabilities. I use them in high-humidity (90+%) environments where similar devices I have tried in the past usually fail within a few days or weeks. After 6 months of use, one of the unit’s front touch-control panel and Bluetooth connectivity stopped working even though it continued to accurately measure and display the humidity & temperature levels on the device’s LCD screen. However, I was pleasantly surprised when, after a brief (< 5 min) call to their customer support line, the company arranged to send a replacement unit to me free of charge or other hassles! In today’s age of really poor customer service, ThermoPro is one of the few companies that stands by their products and provides exemplary customer service. The only issue I have with the units is the inclusion of the “CLEAR” button on the front touch-control panel. When handling the unit, it is pretty easy to accidentally hit that button and unintentionally delete the entire history of measurements taken. IMO, the CLEAR button should have been omitted from the front panel and the app updated to provide this functionality instead, or at the very least require the user to confirm their intent before clearing the historical data from the device when the CLEAR button on the front touch-control panel. BTW, I’ve seen other reviewers say they weren’t able to view more than the most recent week of historical data in the app when viewing “1 Year” of data. To do so, all you have to do is swipe from left to right on either of the two graphs (temp or humidity) to see up to a year of older historical data. Whether viewing historical data under the “1 Week” or “1 Year” timeframes, only one week of data can be displayed on the graphs at once; however when viewing in the “1 Year” timeframe, you can use your finger to swipe right to see data older than the most recent week, but you’ll still be limited to seeing a single week’s worth of data on the graphs at any one time. This is understandable given the screen size constraints of mist mobile devices.

I bought these because I have an immune issue and I have air purifiers cannot do their job protecting me when the humidity is lower than 40%. I purchased these as a way to see what’s going on in each room at my house all in one place and I also set it up to alert me when the humidity is below 40% or above 55%. The other reason for this purchase was because of the tracking data to where you can look back at the history for each room which you can track all the way back to the past year. This allows me to see how often rooms are dipping below or above the thresholds and you can personalize the name each room , which is an amazing function if it would work, but every time I go to look, the whole app freezes so I have to get out out of it completely, go back in, only to have the same problem. Also, the alerts only seem to work when you were actually on the app versus alerting my phone when it happens. So 50% of the reason for the purchase is not helpful at all to me. Anyone purchasing this, just to know what’s going on their homes and have something where all rooms selected can be located in one place, and you don’t need really to know the history or to have alerts….. than it’s a great product and app, but if you need anything more specific than that, from what I am seeing so far (i’ve had them for about six months) it’s not helpful. This is why I only gave it three stars because I’m only getting 50% of my purchase. Maybe sometime soon they will have a fix for the app to alleviates this problem and at that time I’d be more than happy to change the review and give it five stars. I hope this is helpful for anyone looking to purchase this product.
