⚡ Unlock the universe’s secrets with every random number!
The RNG-01 is a laboratory-grade random number generator that leverages the immutable randomness of radioactive decay to produce 1-3 true random numbers per minute. With selectable ranges from 1-2 to 1-128, it’s engineered for advanced PSI testing, cryptography, gaming, and scientific research, all housed in a transparent etched case by a trusted manufacturer with 25+ years of expertise.

Low priced nucleotide disintegration random number generator that really performs as advertised.
I am truly impressed. This unit uses background radiation (a physically random process) to stop its large internal roulette wheel of stored quasi random numbers to provide a "random" number from a settable range. An internal counter is constantly indexing through a large table of pre-determined quasi-random numbers at a high rate. When a radioactive disintegration is detected, the number is output is the table entry where the counter is pointing at that instant. I ran several experiments "kicking the tires" of this RNG. Random numbers were collected using the UART output via a readily available USB to RS-232 converter (a two wire connection); "receive" and GND. I wrote a simple application to grab and store the output numbers for later analysis. A radioactive sample placed close to its internal Geiger counter sped up the data collection process. Here is what I observed from 35,000 consecutive samples looking through the lens of MS Excel: The value histogram is straight forward. Each bin tallies the count of an output random number with the RNG's range set to 0 through 127. There appears to be some bias - or is it aliasing? Here is where additional study is needed - Excel does horrible histogram binning. The second plot tallies the difference between adjacent "random" values. Ideally it would be a perfectly smooth triangle. Again, I don't know what is Excel histogram biasing and the fact that numbers are pulled from a finite, defined table. I love this unit. It works as advertised. It is very reasonably priced. (check out lab grade RNG pricing!) Well done.

Works great, Odd casing
The machine is practically open and exposed along the top side, and the range selection switches feel too delicate for regular use. But it works great and is lots of fun for PSI or other interrogations.

Fascinating Device for True Randomness and Experimental Research
I purchased the RNG-01 mainly out of curiosity, but it turned out to be one of the most interesting electronic devices I’ve added to my lab setup. Unlike software-based random number generators, this unit uses radioactive decay to produce true randomness, which makes it feel much more authentic and scientifically engaging. The build quality is excellent. The clear acrylic case lets you see the electronics in operation, and the LCD display gives immediate feedback while the colored LED adds a nice visual touch. I also appreciated the adjustable range settings and the ability to connect the unit directly to a PC for data collection and analysis. What impressed me most is that this is not just a novelty item. It’s a genuine laboratory-style instrument that can be used for experiments, statistics demonstrations, educational purposes, and even creative projects. The included PSI software adds another layer of experimentation and makes the device much more interactive. Whether you’re interested in probability, electronics, consciousness research, random processes, or just unusual scientific instruments, this product is both fun and surprisingly well-engineered. Definitely a conversation starter and a unique addition to any workshop or research collection.

Works as advertised. Very pleased.
I ordered one first and it came with one of the features not working. Company took it back snd sent another one which worked. The company was very nice and responsive and i would buy again from them.
