Life changer for a thinning hair gal
I've been struggling with thinning hair on my crown for years and had been considering a wig topper. However, my sister who is a hairdresser told me it could be too much strain on my existing hair and might not look natural, so I decided to try this alternative. Honestly, it’s been a game changer. The only downside is that the color is a little darker than my natural shade, but it still works fine for me. I did learn that you really need to shake the can well before applying it, and it’s best to part your hair in multiple spots when spraying, especially around my crown area. I have to be careful not to get it on my face, though, because even with caution, I end up with a few sprinkles that are easy to wipe off.I usually save it for special occasions since it’s a bit pricey, and I don’t want to go through it too quickly. But the cool thing is, after using it and not washing my hair for a couple of days, the color stayed in place, and my husband didn’t even realize I had used a spray! He actually thought it was my natural hair and complimented me on how much fuller it looked.I’ve found that if I part my hair in a certain way, the spray blends in so well that my thinning crown isn’t visible at all. It’s been a huge confidence boost, especially since thinning hair has been such a struggle at my age. I’m so glad I gave it a try!

Perfect.
Perfect. That is all I have to say. This product does exactly what it promises and works extremely well. I always had dark brown hair but grayed young (by 30). As I age, my hair is thinning. I get it colored every three weeks to avoid gray/white roots - but as it grows out (way too quickly) my white roots look invisible against my pale scalp. I use this spray to keep from looking almost bald in places. It goes on easily and lasts until I wash it off. That said - I only wash every 3-4 days as I don't have much oil in my scalp at my age and I don't brush my hair deeply or hard at the scalp in between washes. Yes - it can be messy since the spray may spit to the sides a bit - so be prepared for this by being nude and not using white towels 9 my chocolate towels are excellent for this. It doesn't appear to dry my scalp.

B.b vs. toppik
For those of you interested, I’ve tried both this and toppik colored thinkinging spray to help make my thin head of hair look fuller. They are pretty different products. I’d describe this one as a tinted dry shampoo, and the toppik as a colored hairspray. The B.b product provides medium coverage on the scalp. Which is helpful when trying to make it look natural close to the hairline. The most is also much finer of a spray. It is buildable to make it more full coverage on the scalp. And it is much easier to style and work with if trying to do any type of hairstyle. It also provides volume and texture. The toppik is very full coverage. It reminds me of spray paint. I do notice that it also provides a dry shampoo effect, keeping my hair much less oily and for longer. The texture however is like a hairspray. It is much harder to work with if you are trying to style your hair.I like both products. I use the toppik mostly for everyday use/work when I know I’m going to do an easy updo. And I use the B.b when I want to style my hair on weekends or for events (bc it’s a pretty expensive product). I supplement with toppik powder when needed.I gave it 4 starts only bc of price. Hope that helps!

Doesn't work and you can't return!
This stuff is absolute garbage and YOU CAN'T RETURN IT! It made my hair more oily. I followed the directions exactly. It also makes an absolute mess in the shower. When you wash you hair after using this dark stuff gets everywhere. Maybe my mistake not reading the details (I assumed you can return anything.) I tried returning after one use and it wasn't allowed. Since I was stuck with it, I tried using a couple more times, it just doesn't work. Made my hair look worse every time. So know this prior to ordering. Unless you've use this product and you love it, do not buy this! You'll waste $30+ like I did.

Great quality!
I love this spray! The best spray I have found to cover the thinner areas on my scalp. It is expensive but I don’t use it every day as I don’t wash my hair but 2 or 3 times a week. Even after sleeping I wake up and don’t have to reapply much if any at all the next day. I really like it just wish it wasn’t as expensive. I know products of better quality will be more however, does any one know of anything else of equal quality that I could try that might be a bit cheaper? Not a fan of the L’Oréal product.

Product great; Spraying horrible
I think the color of this brown is perfect and the cover-up is great. Getting the product out of the can has proved to be difficult. This is my second can that I ordered after I sent the first one back and it sprays for maybe a few seconds and then clogs and drips down the can.

Love!
I LOVE this product!! I part my hair in my desired spot. Then I use a rat tail comb to lift/part a section of hair about 1/2 inch away from the 1st part. I apply the product and then lay the section back down over it. I repeat the process on the same side. This has been an amazing product to disguise my thinning hair which it most noticeable at my part. After the product dries I notice there’s a firmness/ texture so I gently break it up to have a more natural look/ feel with a brush or even my fingers. I would compare the texture after it dries to kind of like a light hold hair spray feel.I use it very sparingly and I would not use this as a dry shampoo. Will it transfer onto pillowcases or other fabrics that come in contact with it, yes. But it seems to wash out well.
