Rugged - Multi-Tool Key Holder with Bottle Opener and Pocket Clip (up to 14 Keys)

Having had the original Keysmart for a couple of years, I was never happy that it flexed while opening my door. It'll never fit the 14 keys claimed, but it's much more solid, and comes with a handy bottle opener. For me, it works great! Not paying the silly money b for the titanium one.

Really good idea only thing I would say is pity it can't hold more keys or chunkier ones or make the extender more easy to get hold of would Be brilliant then fiddly to set up but good in end

It took a bit of adjusting to get the keys just right for how I liked it . I have 5 keys on it as well as the Bottle opener , the belt clip attachment and the key ring attachment. I had to juggle the spacers , it is a bit of a fiddle to get things in place and screw it together. I put 2 house keys with the bottle opener at the far end away from the beltclip end so I could use the key ring tab on the bottle opener to easily swing out the house keys at the free end of the KeySmart. At the belt clip end I placed the small key ring tab so I could attach it to the car key unit and 3 keys which are required for the roof rack and top box but not used often. Ideal for a case of need to keep them with the car keys but they are not required to use very much My point is you have to think about which keys you use daily then place them at the free end . The other keys required but not used as much at the car key unit end. If you need any more than this you need to purchase a Expansion set where you can add longer pins in order to fit more keys. It says you can fit a maximum of 14 keys with the rugged but THAT WILL BE WITH AN EXPANSION SET. As it is I was able to get 5 of my keys on and then the bottle opener and key ring tab. Having adjusted it and used it today I have found it useful. It is something you have to get used to using as it's different to a plain bunch of keys.. Instructions on how to assemble it are included in the packet with a web address to direct to the instructions. I intend to use this with some S Micro Lock Mini Stainless Steel Carabiners so I can quick release when I need . The KeySmart is well made and came with two shorter screws in the unit and 2 longer screws along with a number of spacers in a packet contained with it. Overall I am happy it will function as I require .

Bought this product after reading and researching a lot of the similar items available on Amazon. For my particular needs, type and number of keys it is ideal. I've attached 2 full size keys and 3 shorter keys for padlocks etc, as well as a 32GB USB 3.0 Pen Drive and the included bottle opener. After a couple of weeks of constant use I'm happy to recommend this item. I find it particularly good for carrying my keys in my pocket with my phone, as the risk of scratched to my phone is greatly reduced with the keys in this form factor. Only slight issue is the balancing act required to line all of your keys and the spacers up during assembly, which requires some patience. As mentioned by another reviewer you need to adjust your level of force for using keys as you can apply a lot more force as the setup acts as a lever. Overview: It will hold your keys together and stop the holes being poked in your clothes or bag. But boy is it frustrating and fiddly to put together. Pros: * Quality: The overall quality of the holder is good. It doesn't feel like it will fall apart within a few weeks. I have confidence that it will be in use next year. Cons: * Issues: If you don't have any mortice keys then it might be better, but it can be a pain to flick out the key you want without having to move others. * Ease of Use: This is a nightmare to put together, be prepared to need a few minutes to cool down when putting it together. It is very fiddly trying to put it together. It can be frustrating once together to bring out the key you want. * Value for Money: Not for me, you can probably get cheaper holders that will do the same job. * Conclusion: Honestly, I would look elsewhere for a cheaper one or pay a little more for the tracker versions. then you might get your money's worth.

Love it. Tricky to get the keys perfectly aligned (especially when you have odd ones with plastic heads) but once it's set-up - works great.

Park the price for a minute. This is genuinely a really well produced product, it is that bit more sturdy than the lighter weight options but remains stylish, compact & functional. It is easy to put together and to customise according to how many keys and any of the tools you want to incorporate (I’m fairly minimalist), the clip is a good addition & also feels well made, not like a cheap add on. I’m writing this review a year after purchase, the Key Smart “rugged” has been in daily use & has done really well, it’s solid, functional and stylish. Also this product stays together pretty well, I have not had to tighten bolts in a year because they are properly recessed & properly manufactured, unlike some similar products I have had previously. It’s a nice to have, a bit of a gadget but I really like mine & give it a solid 4*s recommendation.

This key safe is sturdy and looks good but setting it up is a total nightmare. Trying to place your keys on the provided screws is very difficult and more often that not leads to them falling off, just when you're trying to put the 2 keyguard sides together and screw them home. Instructions are minimal and not particularly helpful. Once set up it does protect your keys ok but the screws come loose regularly and once this fell apart in my pocket. I was lucky not to lose any keys. Wouldn't buy again.

Tiene gran resistencia al ser de metal, con los tornillos que incluidos le caben aproximadamente 6 llaves. Es ideal para deshacerse de los molestos llaveros que tintinean por todos lados. Excelente calidad. Un poco complicado de poner las llaves pero nada imposible.

I was a Kickstarter backer for the original KeySmart in early 2013, which I still have and works perfectly. I needed one for my work keys, so I ordered another. I think the newer version's build quality is better than the classic. The new version comes with an integrated pocket clip, which is a huge plus for me. If you hate jingling key noise and want a quality piece, order this one.
