Fit the olight Valkyrie pl mini 2 in multiple positions on the hellcat pro. It only has so much retention because it fits 3 different lights. But still secure. It can cant and is easy and comfortable to put on and take off.

Was able to Dremel the bottom of the holster where the barrel is pointing out which allowed for the compensator to pass through the base of the holster without catching on draw or sheathing. Great item, great price. Beware the holster does sit quite high on the waist.

Doesn't hold the gun securely. What's the point then?

The holster arrived quickly. Retention is gained from the the light's quick disconnect (qd). In this case, the retention bump was molded for the light to be installed in the forward slot of the gun. Since I like my light in the rear slot, I marked the location of the qd on the holster, heated it up with a hair dryer and pressed a second bump in the desired location. My next mod will be trimming the lip above the top screw for my middle finger to positively grip the gun's handle when unholstering. This last issue is the reason for my 4-star review, as not having a good grip when unholstering may lead to fumbling in a real world scenario.Having said that, it was a 4-star review because other holsters (that don't even fit an Olight; good luck with that one!) still cost over double the price of this one.
