Great for older babies. Fruit,veggies go in, kiddos munch on to get safe, particles of food. A little difficult to clean but worth the effort to use.

I have really enjoyed using this product for my 6 month old. We use it several times a week. We are doing a combo approach of both purees and BLW. She has not yet mastered the pincer grasp, so this feeder is perfect for the meantime. She is still able to enjoy certain fruits and vegetables independently that she wouldn't be able to if we had offered them to her cut up small. Her favorite foods in the feeder are strawberries and clementines. We have not had any issues with pieces of the mesh coming off/being in her food. As far as being able to clean, I've found these quite easy to clean. As other reviewers have recommended, as soon as my daughter is done eating, I empty the feeder and have it soak in warm water until I am able to wash it. I did find that it is very difficult to clean it after used for banana, so I do not recommend using banana with this product. My one complaint about this product, which I didn't see many people mention, is that it was VERY difficult for me to open the first couple times I use it. I actually had to use pliers to open it the first time! I couldn't believe it! I don't know if it was just a fluke or if this happens to everyone. I was worried that it would end up being a wasteful purchase because I found it so difficult to use. But don't give up! After just a couple uses it became much easier for me to open, and still remains firmly closed when my daughter uses it. I guess it had to loosen a little somehow.

As a mom, I really appreciate this baby fresh feeder. It has a great fit in my little one’s hands and is very easy to hold. The design makes it simple for me to use and clean, which is a huge help during busy days. It works effectively for introducing fresh fruits and veggies without any mess or choking worries. We bought these Munchkin Baby Feeders when we started solids to help reduce the risk of choking while introducing new foods. We began using them around six months old, adding strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and soft veggies. The mesh made it easy for our baby to safely taste and digest tiny pieces, and the handle fit perfectly in his little hands, helping him practice fine motor and early feeding skills. I also liked that the feeder locks securely and tightly—there’s no way for baby to pop it open. The only downside is that the mesh can be a bit difficult to clean and can stain from certain fruits, but honestly, that’s worth the peace of mind knowing he’s safe while trying new foods. It was also great during teething. We’d pop in cold fruit or chilled items, and he loved gnawing on it for relief and comfort. For the price and the added peace of mind, I would definitely recommend these to other parents introducing solids.

I bought these for my grandson! It is perfect to put in an apple slice or carrot for him to chew on while he’s teething and get new flavors without the concern of choking! Easy to clean out or throw in the dishwasher. I highly recommend.

Baby enjoys the texture of the mesh, however the mesh is DIFFICULT to clean. The handle is the perfect size for small hands. There is no plastic or off taste to the item when it comes out.

Best purchase for babies!! Put any type of fruit inside, throw in the freezer and it’s great for their gums!!! When old enough, took extra dinner and puréed it, put it in here and my kids love it!!

Feeder sind toll. Farblich kann man es sogar in Gemüse und Obst einteilen. Klappt super mit Banane oder sogar mit gedünstetem Gemüse/Obst. Das Baby hat Spaß daran und wusste sofort was damit zu tun ist (6. Monate alt) Unser Kind lutscht/kanbbert fleißig daran rum. Man muss Dank der Qualität keine Angst haben, dass es reißt. Verschluss ist sicher, Baby kann es nicht öffnen. Reinigung: muss man mit einer guten Bürste (Bürste für Babyflaschen oder Trinkfalschen z.B.) sauber machen. Zu beachten ist, dass Baby macht damit eine kleine Sauerei, da es mit den Händen den Brei/Saft, welches durch das Netzt kommt, zu greifen kriegt. Aber hin und wieder darf unser Kind halt mal ein wenig kleckern, hat jedenfalls mächtig Spaß dabei. Wir würden es wieder kaufen. Preis ist OK.

We got these a few months ago and they are terrific. Bit of work to clean but worth it. If you have a little girl like mine who is strong minded like her mom, she won't be to fond of you wanting to spoon feed her, she will want to do it herself! These let your little one nibble and suck away and try to feed themselves while containing most of the mess. We have used this with all kinds of mashed veggies, fruit pieces and even some meat. It's a great way to break into solid food, we started around 6 months and used them for a few months. The little one is getting to the point now at 9 months where she can feed herself a lot of things without the feeder.
