Incredibly light weight! Much of the time, I am not aware I’m wearing the glasses. The additional value for me is that I don’t need to carry reading glasses when playing golf, eating out, and or shopping. As I recently had cataract surgery, I no longer require distance correction. Only minor reading correction is needed. The SambaShades meet both of these requirements! And the price is very affordable.

Many of the review say this product is cheaply made......believe them. I knew that going in and they just needed to get me over for a week beach vacation, but do not expect to have these last a long time. The tinting is nice and they worked fine reading my book on the beach. If you're good with that like I was then this isn't a terrible buy. If you want something sturdier you should move on to another option.

Among the crappy sunglasses out there (I've had several pair break on their own), these seem well made. I was surprised at how well they sit on top of my head (better than a hair band!). Cool looking, nice size for my average sized head. The magnification is just a small area; you get used to looking over it. Comes in handy in the grocery store. Good glasses. My favorite sunglasses, when I had more money, were Maui Jims, and these are very similar. They weigh almost nothing and are very comfortable.

Bought 2 pairs separately.. and BOTH broke in the same place, where the nose piece connects to the lense. One arrived broken, the other broke the second day. They are light weight and look great, but pointless when they break at the slightest thing! ...

Absolutely love these sunglasses. The readers sit low enough so they don't interfere with your line of sight. The glasses are so light that you dont even realize you have them on.

This was my second purchase of a second pair. The first pair broke at the nose piece attachment with the lens. The second pair I sent back immediately because it was already showing signs of looseness/ potential breakage at the same spot on the second pair.They are a great weight and look, the manufacturer just needs to address this particular design flaw.

The first minute I opened them to put them on the separated at the nose piece. My wife asked how much I had paid for those since I was going to have to super glue the lenses to the nose piece. The are very light weight which I like and after repairing them myself, I do wear the glasses just frustrating to pay nearly $40 and have to fix them yourself.

Driving. Selected for reader insert and not polarized. Polarized lenses make the HUD in winshield hard to see.
