Aqara Smart Valve Controller T1, Matter over Bridge

This valve controller is a game-changer for home safety. It fits easily onto standard valve handles and connects seamlessly with the Aqara Home app. I love that it can automatically shut off water if a leak is detected — perfect for peace of mind when I’m away. The ability to control it remotely and set timers is super handy. Solid build quality, great automation options, and excellent battery life. Worth every penny!

Works well co far. Instalation and connected no problem. Now I have leak protection all in my house

The mounting bracket don’t cater for all scenarios and the actual device bracket is plastic which has snapped. This may have been my fault but nevertheless should be stronger in design

Does the job very well After trial and error I found the Peglar PB300 full bore valve to be the best option for fit and water flow. Can be got at Screwfix for £17

Arrived fast, looks good, not had time to setup yet

Really janky setup with no instructions. Didn't fit my pipe originally so I had to use a lot of washers that I had to widen the gap to fit my 1" mains valve. Took a long time to set up but it works It does what it's supposed to do, and that's why I'm keeping it

Occasionally disconnects from hub. Even though it’s in the same room and hooked up to Ethernet (internet speeds of 2.3gbps) can be frustrating. Relatively good for it’s purpose

I was hesitant to buy this shut off valve because of several reviews suggesting it might not fit my pipe anatomy. But I recently had a $8000 repair bill for water damage in my home and I was desperate for a solution that would prevent another water disaster. The Aqara shut off valve arrived quickly. I was impressed with the build quality. Expecting disappointment, I immediately went to the main water shut off valve in my basement to check if the device would fit. I was overjoyed to see that it was going to be a perfect fit! It was a very easy install, taking no more than 15 minutes. Now the real test- would the thing actually work? I’m pleased to say that it worked perfectly, completely closing and then opening the valve. Then I tested automatic function by placing one of my Aqara water sensors in a dish of water. Almost instantaneously the device began closing the water valve. In less than 15 seconds my main water valve was completely closed. Time will tell about battery life. But for now I am very pleased.

Die T1M ist der Hammer! Sie ist nicht nur ziemlich groß, sondern auch richtig hell – perfekt für größere Räume. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und das Design ist modern und elegant. Macht ordentlich Eindruck an der Decke! Bin total zufrieden und würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.

La app è una mezza cinesata, nel senso che non si capisce nulla. È tradotta malissimo. Ad esempio chiede di aggiungere un "mozzo". Che è? È l'hub. Vabbè, a parte la infima qualità della app, il prodotto funziona bene e ha mille modi di essere attaccato. Non fa rumore. Si chiude o su impulso del telefono, o quando un sensore di acqua rileva l'acqua (ma va attivata la funzionalità a parte in una sezione della app). Per quel che costa va benissimo
