ColorBox Chalk Queue 71709 Ink Pad, Twist

I really liked this ink pad set. They are small which I expected after I read some reviews. In fact, I wound up being pleased with the small size because it gave me much more control over where I wanted to put the ink, especially on stamps using multiple colors. None of them were dry when I received them. They each lasted through at least 80 stamps each, which for the size of the pads I though was pretty good. The colors are very nice and came out well on the brown kraft cardstock I used.

I thought these ink pads were ok. I was really excited to find this color palette in chalk ink. I'm not entirely thrilled with how they are packaged, in one tall stack, with the cover being the bottom of the ink pad on top of it. One of the green colors was pretty dried out when it arrived, so that was disappointing. I feel like the color was really hard to pick up. They were not as pigmented as memento dew drop chalk inks. I was hoping to get a deal, because these were considerably cheaper than the memento inks. Not the case. If you want a good quality chalk ink, I would recommend the memento over these.

When I unboxed these, the packaging on the ink pads looked really old. I was afraid they were going to be dry. But once I opened them and tried them they were ok. A couple of them are a little dry but but still work. I have other colors of the same brand and they last a long time. Hopefully these will too.

I have purchased many sets of these in pigment ink as well as chalk and have LOVED them. The narrow edges make it easy to get into smaller spaces for certain paper crafts with which you might be using them. However, this set was practically dried up and I had no idea until the packaging was in the trash and went to try them out. SO...... beware, these were old! They tend to run a little pricy and definitely want a set that is ready to use. Otherwise, I would highly recommend- not only this set of colors, but others as well.

Product quality is excellent, but the green I was hoping was a Christmas green is actually olive.

Beautiful tropical "summer" colors in this set - they are all pretty neutral, which makes them perfect for any tropical themed project you may be doing - the coral color is especially nice. I have several of these sets because the colors are so vivid and true, and they are an economical way to purchase a lot of different colors - this is one of my favorites. I really love the ColorBox stamp pads - easy to work with an great color.

I ordered this use for a "Thumbprint Family Tree" (instead of a traditional guest book sign in for my sister's reception) and it worked just as I hoped it would!The pads are the perfect size for thumbs and the ink dries very quickly! We didn't have any issues with smearing or smudging.The colors all complimented each other beautifully and everyone was thrilled at how their thumbprint "leaf" looked on the canvas.Great product! I'll definitely order more color palettes for future use!

rather small but it did work. i still need to develop my skills using stamps so i would call this a handy small item best used by someone experienced in the stamping crafts. I will keep using it so i think its a fairly great item
