Something new to learn
My nephew is 21 years old and has become interested in gaining muscle mass so I recommended this book to him where it explains what calisthenics is, how he can practice it without having to pay a gym and that he only uses his own body weight to exercise. He was fascinated since it is something new for him.I liked the benefits that author mentions for health, in addition to gaining muscles, which is a bonus, you will gain strength that will be useful in your daily routine activities. You will also gain more flexibility and mobility for your body and you will learn to be disciplined and strengthen your mind.The book is very interesting, it includes the history of the origin of calisthenics and teaches you how to start practicing it if you are a beginner, it debunks myths and errors about this discipline. It also advises you on what resistance bands and bar equipment you can use, minimum equipment as you go up in level and something that seemed very important to me is the nutrition plan that includes gaining muscle and vitamins that your body needs to maintain your energy in this type of exercise routine.The author also includes detailed exercise routines to do them safely and avoid injuries and has illustrations to make it easier to understand. My nephew and I really enjoyed reading this and he learned something new. I recommend this book.

Informative information, between calisthenic workout and gym workout. This book gives different advice to consider. According to book if going to the gym is something you don’t look forward to give calisthenic a try.With calisthenics you don’t need gym equipment or a gym membership. You can do calisthenics anywhere. Discusses setting realistic goals short vs long term plus what it takes to achieve them. Covers nutrition has a sample meal plan. Go’s over warm ups, injury prevention and more. Has a section on staying consistent and so much more. Want to put calisthenics in your daily routine check this book out.

Awesome how to guide for exercising
My daughter and I were looking for a new workout and this is perfect! It's literally a comprehensive, step-by-step guide that introduces the calisthenics then walks you through a beginner, intermediate, and excelled workout schedule. Complete with written directions, positives and negatives, and pictures of the moves. Amazing guide to start you out with calisthenics. The author even guides you with nutrition and how it can help you. My favorite part was the breakdown of plateaus and how to deal with them. Overall, anyone looking for a new, tougher workout this will do it!

The media could not be loaded. This is a great book that contains so much information on how to transform your body. From learning the science of calisthenics to practicing the precise workouts. I love how the book contains so many images to guide you. Highly recommend!

Great exercise book
I really liked doing the exercises in this book because it didn't make my old injuries flare up. It covers tracking progress, mindfulness, nutrition, recovery, and fat loss. The exercises have illustrations along with instructions.

Extremely cheap quality
The content of the book is fine, the book itself is very disappointing for the price. Cheap, pulpy paper and the all black and white illustrations and text gives you the impression that the printer was set up to save as much ink as possible. It's brand new and doesn't even sit flat on a table, the pages are wavy and the cover curls up.at the edges. I'm going to return it just on principle, nobody would ever drop 23 bucks on a book like this if they had actually picked it up in a store.
