Battle Angel Alita [VHS]

Battle Angel Alita is about a young female cyborg who is rescued by a man who fixes cyborgs by day and a bounty hunter by night. She eventually becomes more aware of her powers and uses them to devastating effect on the streets which are used by another planet as a rubbish dump. As the powerful story progresses Alita learns about greed ,betrayal,love and loss after befriending a human boy with ambitions for his future. Most Japanese animation films are about robots and mutants in a futuristic environment with depressing stories and plots but whilst Battle Angel Alita is about robots and cyborgs its plot is more conventional and not depressing. The only thing wrong with the film is that the story becomes a bit 'rushed' towards the end but apart from that it is a very good animation despite its age.

Best anime ever.

AMAZING! This is the first manga video I ever bought and now I'm hooked. The plot is amazing, the characters are well thought out and I love it!
