Perfect!
One you get a handle on using this, it becomes easier to do bigger crafting jobs. My only complaint is the this item did not come with the t-slide guide like my older Dremel Moto Saw did.

Nice little saw
For the price, the saw is OK. There are advantages and disadvantages of the product of course. Its very light and portable. I love that I can mount it to almost any table top. Its the quietest power tool in my shop and it's good at making detailed cuts, however, I wouldn't recommend trying to cut hardwoods with this (unless Dremel makes higher quality blades for this someday). When cutting, I notice the blades would bend a little as I'm guiding the work piece through. One blade actually snapped and hit me in the face. I thank God I had my protective eye wear on! Several blades got stuck in the wood I was cutting and when trying to remove them, the blade was damaged beyond use. I did notice that the blades will break easier if you don't hold what your cutting steady--allow your piece to vibrate too much while the blade is cutting will make your blade break for sure (and that's understandable! ) changing the blades wasn't always easy either. Though, with close examination, the types of blades can be distinguished, Dremel still should label them. Its such an unnecessary waste of time. Also, the blades are difficult to find! Places like The Home Depot or Lowe's has an entire section dedicated to Dremel tools, attachments, and accessories yet the blades for this saw are not sold there. From my research, they can only be purchased online and it wouldn't be an issue of the cost to ship them wasnt so high! On some sites, the shipping exceeds the value of the blades. Overall I give the machine 4 stars. But the blades, I give 2 stars. I think the product perfect for beginners, even with its flaws. Start here if you can't afford the more expensive tools. I hope Dremel makes blades that are more durable in the future because the poor quality blades used now takes away so much from the actual product.

not loud. VERY easy to use.
So, I'm an arthritic 74-yr-old female leather worker (hobbyist). I needed to make a sort of mold/form/jig to wrap leather around while I made the wallet. This is my first time using a saw to cut smooth corners, and it worked beautifully. Since it was my first try, I then smoothed down my slightly jaggedy curve with a belt sander, also small, that I own. I feel so good about this purchase. The price was outstandingly good, the blades went in easy as fishin'. The saw itself sits very securely with its clamp on my workshop table. No worries there. Since I do small stuff, the saw table is more than large enough for my needs. I love this!

Nice kit, easy setup
Wanted a scroll saw that could be disassembled as my workbench is small and I can't afford the space permanently. This clamps onto the workbench and is very easy to assemble. It comes with a variety of blades for cutting various materials. As with any thin blade, it cuts best and straighter if you cut slowly and are careful with how much pressure you apply. Push real hard and the blade will drift to one side. Go slow and you get a nice clean cut along the desired cut line. The bed is plastic as most dremel accessories. Also you must order the miter guide separately as it is not included. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.

This is a very nice saw but...
This is a very nice saw but it has two main problems that in my opinion cost them two stars. 1- No miter gauge : Even thought the space for the miter gauge is molded in the case, I feel that I have been scammed by Dremel , I know that the miter gauge was not offered as part of the package but is clear that the original intention was to pack it as part of the accessories, I wouldn't have minded if they made the miter gauge EASILY available to purchase separately, but that's not the case I consider this a big flaw on the product and a gigantic flaw on the customer service. 2- Even thought it has blades for metal it is useless to work on metal: I tried to cut a very soft and very thin aluminum sheet (2mm) and it destroyed 3 blades (straight cut no curves or angles) and the cut was not longer than 6 inches. So this is a saw for wood and plastic only despite what is says on the false advertisement by Dremel. For the rest it works perfectly on wood ( I have only tried soft wood no thicker than 1/4 inch ) It cuts either straight or curve with sharp curve angles with no problems at all, I bought this saw because I wanted something portable, lightweight, small and noiseless and it checks OK on all of that and It can be fixed to a table easily , I have not used it detached from the table accessory as a hand tool. Ergonomically it only depends on the height of the table you are fixing it to and I recommend to purchase a switch pedal because the switch can be difficult to reach while cutting, The blades are easy to find where I live but I don't like that they are exclusive to this saw, they should have used a standard blade. I'm a little disappointed because of the two issues I mentioned otherwise it could have been the perfect saw for small hobby crafts.
