ASICS Unisex SUPERBLAST 2 Running Shoes

If you demand a running shoe that has excellent midsole cushioning and a great feeling response, the Asics Superblast 2 is one of the few that exceed my expectations. Superb comfort with dual-layer FF Turbo Plus atop FF Blast Plus Eco foam (and yes I had to look that up), it's the lightest weight shoes i've ever owned. It feels like both of these together weights as much as one Ultraboost 1.0. It's high-stack design was strange for what I'm used to but after even a few minutes, I get the hype: effortless transitions across paces and distance. Mesh upper is super breathable and secure. The 'AsicsGrip premium compound' outsole offers better traction and resists pebble ingress over the Superblast 1 both functionally and in durability. In short, the Superblast 2 not only excels as a do-it-all super-trainer, a complete package of cushioning, stability, and endurance (and it looks great). The price is hefty, but these are my favorites, definitive five-star commitment for serious runners.

I used to wear ASICS years ago when heal spurs were bothering me. My podiatrist recommended them due to “good arch support”. I’m a nurse and have worked 12-16 hr shifts + overtime and on-call most of my career. Any nurse will tell you that good shoes are so important. We are on our feet and walking all day, with few breaks, if any. I have recently been wearing a different brand of shoes and was having increased pain due to going to the gym, so thought I’d give ASICS a try again. I’m so glad I did. These particular shoes are so comfy and supportive. They have a wide heel base and a nice sized toe box which I love. Great purchase. Highly recommend!!

I’ve worn asics kayanos for over 30 years, but decided to try something new. These feel very different. The first thing you notice is the cushioning and the bounce when you heel strike. But the trade off is a little bit less stability. They are lighter too. Fit seems pretty spot on. Tongue is thinner than other running shoes. So far runs still feel good, I’m interspersing with Kayano 30s. The lightness is noticeable on longer runs. Ask me which I prefer in six months, as at the moment both feel great to run in. UPDATE: I ended up giving these to my son. I found that the foam sole is less stable for my knees, and I was starting to have pains in my knee joint. They are not a bad shoe, but for me personally I will stick with my kayanos. He likes them and loves how light they are!!

I just bought a pair of these for my upcoming first marathon! Yesterday I did what no one should ever do, and took them out on a half marathon distance training run without ever wearing them! Let me tell you that these shoes are amazing, I have never felt so good running in my life, I really have to attribute that to these shoes! They are so comfortable, I dont really like the soft squishy shoes of the new day and age, because I dont like to feel like im going to roll my ankle if I land a little off, the stability in these shoes is amazing, and you still get that good soft landing with the stability, which is hard to find in high stack shoe! The return you get from the foam is like nothing I have ever felt, I am 155lbs and I was really impressed with how much cushion, stability, and rebound I got from this shoe! Definitely one of the best shoes that money can buy in my opinion! Im thinking about buying a second pair right now before I cant get them anymore!

I put 15 or so miles a week on these, and have done a few 10ks and half in them. They are very light and well cushioned.

They look way cooler in person! They are very comfortable too!

I’m an avid runner who bought these off internet praise. I’ve ran over 50miles in these shoes and I absolutely love them! There’s just one problem that places these at 4/5 stars and that it the shoe laces coming un done numerous times now matter how good you tighten them. You need to double knot.

Great running shoe. I use them with a running orthotic that I insert into the shoe as is. It works perfect. I use this shoe for my everyday running shoe. Great cushion for my knees but does not take away from my pace. I highly recommend them.

Experienced marathon runner here. Ran countless half marathons and a few full marathons. Been running a few years now.biught my first pair of asics 2 years ago. Got 5 pairs in total and every trainer I've bought has got progressively better... The gel nimbus 23 did me proud, the gel nimbus 24 was great, the novablast 3 was amazing. I thought they couldn't get much better than them but moving onto the super blasts asics have somehow managed to further improve an already incredible running trainer...the bounce and the comfort is next level, it almost feels like the trainer is throwing you forward into your strides. Running has always been comfortable with the asics shoes I've been using but these are like pillows on my feet and my performance feels better than ever. Can't recommend enough for long distance runners!

Bereits den Novablast 4 in Besitz und wollte ein Upgrade. Sehr guter Schuh und die Dämpfung aber auch Response und nochmal ein ganz anderes Level! Perfekter Laufschuh. Nutze ihn als Rotation mit dem Novablast. Preis Leistung sehr gut!
