RingConn Gen 2, World’s First Smart Ring with Sleep Apnea Monitoring

Works well and is accurate, however after about 5 months of wearing the battery went from lasting 10 days to suddenly approximately 5 hours. I sent an email through the app and got a reply the next day asking for my purchase details and also a possible fix, I found the instructions easy to follow and once I went through all the instructions the ring was perfect again.

I got this mainly for sleep tracking and is surprisingly accurate. I went for the black matt colour and was worried it would scratch easily but it has surprised me again for the better. It doesn't only look cool, but i've worn it for months every day and not a single scratch yet. It has endured very well with me considering im not looking after like crazy. I'm very happy with the battery life and the case charger is designed to look and feel nice, and very practical too, exactly how i needed it. The plastic crap test ring is slightly smaller and way less comfortable on the finger, but the ring itself it's completely different feeling. I like the fact that i don't need to take it off whilst having a shower, swimming and especially sleeping. I definitely think it's worth the money and it comes without a monthly subscription, so happy days.

Initially the ring was great, comfy to wear, great info from the ring to the app and all worked well. 4 months later it died, it connected to my phone but shared no data, it also stopped monitoring my vitals like normal. I used the AI help on the app which was useless, I tried to report a fault on the app but every time the app took me to some advertising page instead of the help page it was supposed to. I tried going on ring conns website to use the contact us facility, I filled in all the details it was submitted but then Mailer demon reported no such email address. So all in all it is impossible to report a fault to Ringconn or get help. They simply don't want to know! I reported all this to Amazon and fortunately they were amazing, arranging return of the faulty ring and arranging a full refund. Thank you amazon

As an update, over the last month the unit has been really good at collecting date, however over the last week I have had to reset the ring 3 times losing all the data after the app failed to find the device and continually reporting it is sat in the charging base. On top of this, despite assurances you can shower with the unit on (I remove it for any water activity), the contacts on both the ring and charging base are rusting, which has now caused rust marks on my finger. Returning this unit for replacement. I have used AppleWatch before and found it really useful, however the battery life is poor and I prefer a standard watch. I had read about RingConn with interest and decided to try the Gen2. The product is very easy to configure with the app and also exporting the date straight into Apple Fitness and Health. The data that the ring provides is very good and very useful, so all told a pleasant and useful purchase with a battery life around 11 days between charges. The downsides then: - RingConn doesn’t conform to standard ring sizes and you need to try templates to assess the correct size. It would make way more sense to conform to a standard as all rings do. - the ring is quite bulky on your finger, which is understandable given the tech packed into it - I was interested in the Sleep Apnea monitoring after reading the details so decided on the standard instead of the Air (which doesn’t support it). However what is not widely advertised is the disclaimer when you look to enable the option, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere else. Based on the below information I have declined this option: “By tapping "I have read and agree," you signify your consent to activate the "Sleep Apnea Monitoring" feature and agree to provide us with the following data: height, weight, age, BMI, sex, [neck circumference], medical history, OSA symptoms, sleep quality etc. For the purpose of generating an OSAHS assessment report” In summary a great little gadget, fairly accurate, a little bulky for everyday use and not enough detail regarding a key feature which would sway you between the Air and standard version of the product (the air doesn’t support sleep apnea monitoring and is cheaper too).

Absolutely Fantastic Product. Admitedly I don't use all the features on it but even just for sleep tracking and step counts it is great. The step counter is way more accurate than my iphone 16 pro max and it's great to see your blood oxygen levels and heartrate etc whenever you want. You don't even notice you are wearing it and the battery level is rediculous, i only charge this once a week or so. The included charging case is great too and only needs charging itself around twice a year! I did a lot of research before buying this and am glad I did. Make sure you wait for a Prime Day sale though as you'll save a lot of money. ***Make sure you get the sizing kit before buying and try a few sizes for atleast 24h each to get the best fit.***

I ordered this after first trying the leading competitor ring. Immediately you can see the difference, the quality of the competitor ring feels so much better, and this was born out by the black colour coming off of the RingConn device within 3 days of wearing it, and hence it’s been returned. The one big plus point of the RingConn is the charging case, this does feel very premium and is something the competitor could learn from. Comparing the app, the app from the competition is a lot slicker and pleasing on the eye, it also has a number of integrations such as Strava that the RingConn doesn’t have. But it comes at a price, there’s a monthly subscription unlike with RingConn. The RingConn app is functional and informative but you can easily get a sense of ‘chineseium’ that you don’t get with the leading competitor. If you’re really price conscious, and want to avoid the monthly subscription model, then RingConn may be a solution for you but I would stick to a natural colour rather than black for example. I paid £270 in the Prime Days sale, versus £399 (plus £5/m) of the competitor but it wasn’t enough to make me keep it. If you’re going to buy one, absolutely buy the sizing kit first.

Arrived within 24 hours well packaged and with the cool charging stand. Very easy to set up with the app and it fits well, as expected after using the sizing rings the day before. I've only been using it 3-4 days but so far it is tracking steps very accurately and all other measurements seem to be good, the insights offered are better than a previous ring and app I had but this was more expensive. Battery life showing at full charge as 10 days which is again 3-4 days more than the previous fitness ring I had. So far this ring is all I had looked for when I compared with others, and doing what it claimed to...lets he it continues to do so.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ The RingConn Gen 2 is comfortable to wear, lightweight, and provides detailed insights into sleep and overall health. The battery life is excellent, and the companion app is easy to use and packed with useful information. I gave it 4 stars because the data can occasionally take a little while to sync, but overall it’s a great alternative to a smartwatch for health tracking and well worth considering.

Boîtier de charge : C’est un véritable plus au quotidien. Il permet de recharger la bague plusieurs fois sans avoir besoin de brancher le boîtier lui-même, ce qui est ultra pratique en voyage ou en déplacement. Installation : La notice est disponible en français. Synchronisation : L'appairage avec le téléphone est fluide. J'ai même changé de mobile récemment et la reconnexion s'est faite sans aucun souci. 📏 Le choix de la taille Pour ne prendre aucun risque, j'ai commandé le kit de taille à 1 €. Cela m'a permis de tester la bague factice jour et nuit. J'hésitais entre deux tailles, et cet essai m'a permis de trancher. Résultat : à l'arrivée de la vraie bague, le confort était parfait. ✨ Design J'ai opté pour la version Noire. J'ai longtemps hésité avec la finition "Argent" ; j'avoue que j'aurais bien aimé avoir les deux pour pouvoir alterner selon mes tenues et mes humeurs 😁!

El seguimiento de actividad, pasos y calorías me permite flexibilizar más en mi alimentación y adaptar según el día. El seguimiento de sueño muy oportuno para asegurarme descansar lo necesario. Los avisos de posibles dolores de cabeza o frecuencia cardiaca alta muy oportunos. Llevo usando el anillo desde mediados de abril y en un mes „ya había sido rentable la inversión“. El tema batería y el estuche de carga muy top. Mi Apple Watch, el cual tenía que cargar cada noche, ha pasado a un segundo-tercer plano.

I’ve been using the RingConn health monitor ring for a while now, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. I do a lot of hard craft work and house work with my hands, so I expected the ring to get scratched, lose its shine, or maybe even get damaged. Instead, it’s been the complete opposite. The material is extremely strong and solid – it doesn’t feel fragile at all, even when I’m doing rough tasks. The coating/polish still looks almost brand new, even though I wear it while working, cleaning, and using tools. No peeling, no fading, and no cheap-looking scratches. It’s very comfortable to wear all day, to the point where I often forget I even have it on. On the health side it’s also very impressive, It tracks sleep, heart rate, activity, and overall health metrics accurately throughout the day. The app is clear and easy to understand, with helpful charts and summaries instead of just random numbers. Battery life is great – I only need to charge it about once every 12 days, which is very convenient.

L'anello è davvero bellissimo e funzionale. Provengo da tre anni di Oura Ring da cui scappo preminentemente per due ragioni: 1) L'eccezionale durata della batteria di questo anello soprattutto se confrontato ad Oura (che nell'ultimo periodo necessitava di ricarica quotidiana) 2) Disponibilità di un'app bella e funzionale senza necessità di abbinamento mensile. In più c'è la chicca del monitoraggio dell'apnea notturna, una funzione davvero utile. Fino ad ora soddisfatto....
