Effective but requires extensive safety measures
This works as advertised but it is not user friendly because the main ingredient is a possible carcinogen. Per the instructions, you have to be covered from shoulders to feet. you don't have to wear protective eye gear, but you do need rubber gloves of some kind. I wouldn't use this on a lawn where children play. That said, it did indeed kill the bermuda grass that had invaded my tall fescue lawn, which was turning very destructive. it is basically your only option. The instructions state that you must wear long pants, shoes and socks, and a long sleeved shirt. and that those be washed when done. I find all this to be a pain. I saw a guy on YouTube using this while wearing shorts and a t-shirt, however. You can't use this stuff during windy conditions. But hey, it works, and as far as I can tell, it's your only option if you want to save your tall fescue lawn. CA in 1988 listed as a probably carcinogen but more recent data suggests it is not. I found some conflicting data on this. Regardless, you have to be very careful with this stuff.

Worked Great on Quack Grass
This product worked great on my extremely invasive quack grass. I tried pulling it up by hand for several years, but the roots get very long (up to 2 feet) and more grass sprouts from these long roots. When I finally identified the culprit as quack grass, I learned that the worst thing to do is to pull it out as even a tiny piece of root will sprout more quack grass! Several university extension services identified this grass killer. It worked amazingly and did harm any of my flowers, perennials or shrubs. I applied it twice in early and mid-May. Not one bit of quack grass left. Thank you!!

Will kill quack grass
Powerful stuff. If you have the time and patience to dab a little on each plant with a small brush it will definitely kill quack grass. I think if you can catch the infestation early enough with just a few plants, this is definitely the way to go. For a more widespread problem a broadcast application will kill it and every other plant around it unfortunately.

Be careful on northern lawns
Destroyed cool season grasses (rye, bluegrass, fescue) using the product label dilutions. Might as well of used roundup! Took about 2 weeks for full die off. Will stick to tenacity and roundup.

Its a slow process
I used this on torpedo grass about 10 days ago in my flower beds and seems to be working. The torpedo grass has started to slow its growth and turn yellow. I made a stronger batch this morning and sprayed again. Dot expect instant results.
