Takes time, several cleanings for old shower and tub
Not like magic but did get rid of iron stain pretty well ~ 25 year old tub and shower. I did apply it several times to my shower and tub and~ I used a wide car brush with extended handle ~lightweight and easy to apply the CLR and then rinsed with cold water. I can’t say what might do a better job. But this CLR is safe to use and the smell was okay. I only noticed a little reaction in my nostrils after using. If you are cautious or allergic do use a Mask.

Incredible product
This product is miraculous. Ive had hard water built up in my sink in my barn for over 12 years and have tried a ton of products. I sprayed this on today and let it sit like the directions said and I could not believe my eyes. I had to do it a couple times but the end result is nothing short of amazing. I never write product reviews but had to for this as I was so impressed! I've included before and after photos.

You'll find it's a permanent home product
It works so well, I should have gotten a gallon. Stainless steel shines after CLR exposure, really works good, even on things 100 years old. Be careful it's powerful keep your distance. Wear rubber gloves for your own safty

Works well, smells bad
This cleaner works well with limescale but needs some time to work on stubborn buildup. Minus one star for its smell - it’s horrendous, it smells acidic and pungent, it’s better to apply it, then turn the bathroom fan on and leave for a while. Otherwise, you’ll end up with a nasty cough and feel like you inhaled vinegar.
