Tears Gel Drops, 8 ml

The BEST eyedrops for dry eyes ever. Ive tried plugs for my tear ducts but that didn’t work. I’ve used every brand for extreme dry eyes— refresh, systane, visine, blink, clear eyes, thera tears, and more! I even have a prescription for xiidra which I can never consistently use because that, and everything else, regardless of the model within the brand (i.e., “severe, balanced, etc.” all feels like water and instantly feel dry again in minutes or less. This is the ONLY brand that is thicker and more viscous, so it coats the eye and more importantly STAYS on the eye for at least an hour to hours. It adheres somehow and feels like a real barrier. It’s instant relief. In my area, they discontinued this exact brand and sub-type for some reason I have no idea why. I tried a different sub-model of this (a non-“gel” type), but that was like the other brands and had the effect of water. Thank God I have a subscription to this on Amazon, it is a lifesaver and the only one that works. I use this gel drops religiously. Subscribe to it! It’s incomparable.

GenTeal was recommended for my Bella's eyes. Bella has a birth defect that causes her eyes to dry out. GenTeal works to keep her eye moist. The vet wanted to use a different drop, but it would have been $60.00 a month, which was way out of my budget. He suggested this as a good alternative at a better price. Bella doesn't mind the thick lubricant, as it helps her see better, and it doesn't irritate her eyes.

I use this, at the recommendation of my veterinarian, to treat a condition with my dog’s eye. It is effective, and very soothing.

DOG REVIEW: Purchased these eye drops for my blind diabetic dog who experiences dry eye. These are a great gel thickness and feel like they are really coating her eyes. She has completely stopped pawing at her face and taking rapid blinks. They are a wonderful value for the money. [Yes, we have seen her vet, and he recommended OTC eye drops. After seeing minimal results with the more liquid-y ones, we tried these and they are working great]. HUMAN REVIEW: They worked so well for the dog, I bought a bottle for my husband and his dry eyes associated with allergies. He says they are soothing when his allergies are acting up. We keep them in the fridge, which makes them even more refreshing. Works better than any other eye drops, including the big-name allergy brands for him. (Husband refused to pose for a review photo. Dog was happy to oblige!)
