Does this amp make a loud noise/beep when you switch it on or it connects to a bluetooth device? I've seen complaints about this on other small amps

Mine doesn't. And the bluetooth connection is not turned off even when I switch the amp off. So when I plug in 3.5 jack I need to turn off bluetooth on my phone in order for it to work...

It comes with a non standard 3 pin plug which does not fit a UK socket correctly. If you must have this item use a figure 8 to proper BS standard 3 pin plug. The adapter creates a huge spark when connected and the speaker outputs pop like hell (5v DC measured at the speaker terminals during popping) this is the sign of a poorly designed amplifier. I returned mine as it seemed unsafe and poorly designed.
