Battery slows down cutting after 45 minutes Grass trimmer handled my over grown borders with ease and clippings remain on grass rather than spread over my path (which a strimmer would). Although price is cheap the quality build is durable for the occasional household use. Tripod could do with being 6-12inches longer but still managed to complete all tasks. Battery depletes if not in use so no use placing on charge for next use, just charge as and when needed as it charges relatively fast. Tbh when ordering I didn’t have high expectations yet pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my purchase.

Lightweight, easy-ish to use. It’s not completely easy to change blades if your hands are not strong. The long handle does twist around in use too. The blades do snarl up easily on bits of stone or thick twigs. However, on the whole it’s a good item, fairly easy to use, not heavy, and extremely useful. My original set arrived with a broken charger cable, after messages going backwards and forwards between the seller and me we reached a happy conclusion. They did send out a replacement kit and the charger works. The new charger wire is quite brittle, so I’d recommend being careful when using it. I guess this is why my original cable arrived with lots of breaks in it. The battery lasts approx 3/4 of an hour when in constant use.

Likes : light, easy to use, good safety features, grass cutter adjustable heights, adjustable handle length, good instructions - its main purpose for me. Hedge cutter is a bonus and so far has worked for me. Do not try and exceed expectations eg with heavy shrubs. Battery like is acceptable and quick to recharge, Dislikes: getting the battery unit out is quite difficult. I found it easier once I'd figured out a technique which involves facing the unit away from your body, use both thumbs, push in both buttons and push hard. Overall well liked and recommended

The ability to cut both vertical and horizontal grass borders without having to bend or crouch prevents the usual knee and back-aches afterwards. The rotation facility, both left and right to 90 degrees makes all this possible. I've used it now on several occasions and actually enjoy the part of gardening where the trimming is required. Due to the adjustable extension handle, I can and do, trim those patches of grass that get missed or flattened down by the mower. Having by-pass cutting blades, tough blue grass is no problem. The hedge trimmer attachment also benefits from the rotation facility and works well as long as one remembers it's not designed to cut the thicker growths. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with this as well as being quite cheaper than other more well-known makes. The details about charging and length of usage are correct and not an exaggeration.

Had this item delivered on 25th August from Amazon but only just got around to using it on 1st September. Tried to cut a bramble shoot with the hedge trimmer and the blades stuck. Tried another thinner shoot and it still stuck. The item cost £35 and I don't think it would cut butter out of the fridge. Total wast of money and apparently I cannot return for refund because I've had it for more than 30 days even though I've only just got around to trying it. At the moment it is not available from Amazon and I hope for everyone else's sake it remains that way. I'm very disappointed about losing my money on something that's not fit for purpose but I've learned the lesson to try as soon as you buy or pay the price!!

I bought this item to replace my old garden shears, which had become useless. Very pleased with this trimmer, lightweight, sharp and easy to operate, it quickly trims the lawn edges with the minimum of fuss. It also has a hedge trimmer as an attachment. It is only suitable for light work on hedges, so do not expect too much from this attachment. Overall I am very pleased with the grass trimmer and am glad I bought it.

This little cutter works brilliantly to get into awkward spaces, battery life is good and charging time decent too. Only mark off of 5 stars is the potential this breaks shortly, there's no direct concern but the whole contraption is a little flimsy and creaks when there is even a slight bit of stress during operation. For the price is is great though, and I'm hoping my fears are completely unwarranted.
