Probably a niche product
It's a lovely concept, but in practice the lack of any internal lighting means that you're probably going to able to use it only where you have natural light. I've seen an online video review which suggests it can only be used outside. It supports WiFi, although in my experience it needs a strong-ish signal, and it doesn't have any mobile capability. So to connect to the Web, assuming you're forced outdoors, you're probably going to have to piggyback off your smartphone's connection. It is beautifully light and slim, and it's a pretty good e-reader. It plays video well, unlike most e-ink devices. There is no ghosting. The processor seems a bit slow, and I'm beginning to doubt the battery capacity. It doesn't come with a stylus, and I believe it doesn't support WACOM. It would seem I have to buy a USI 2 pen to write on this device, so my Kindle Scribe is not out of a job yet. Finally, I would like to find a case for it. Outdoor use means protection is needed.Postscript: I found it was pretty good as an reader while out walking, though you need to be confident about road safety etc to do this. Being able to increase the font size made for an enjoyable country walk when familiar with the locale. But tragically I sat on it while on holiday, on a poolside recliner, and it was beyond repair. I really didn't put much pressure on it, and it was inside a fabric case. This would not have happened to any Kindle/Fire, not if there were hard cases available for this product. So my conclusion is that, for an outdoor product, it's far too flimsy on its own. The manufacturer has to release it with a hard case.

Works well within its limits
I knew what I was getting into when I ordered this. It’s low powered and needs suitable bright but diffuse lighting conditions to get the best out of it but it’s a fair device for reading and note taking outside and it’s extremely thin and light. I also ordered a USI 2.0 stylus which works nicely.
