I purchased the Speediance PowerGrip Smart Heavy Duty Exercise Handles with high expectations, especially given their premium price point. While the build quality and ergonomic design are commendable, the Bluetooth connectivity has been a consistent source of frustration. Much like the issues I've encountered with the Speediance Bluetooth Ring, these handles frequently struggle to maintain a stable connection with the Gym Monster system. Despite following all troubleshooting steps—ensuring the device is fully charged, resetting the connection, and minimizing potential interference—the problem persists. This not only disrupts workouts but also diminishes the overall user experience. Given that these handles are marketed as "smart" devices, reliable Bluetooth functionality is essential. Unfortunately, the current performance falls short of expectations. I hope Speediance addresses these connectivity issues in future updates or provides clearer guidance on resolving them.

If you own the Speediance Gym-Monster, these PowerGrip handles are an absolute must-have. They’re incredibly well-built—heavy-duty, comfortable to grip, and clearly designed to handle serious workouts. These handles give you better control and range of motion and the ability to turn on and off the weight without using the Bluetooth Ring is fantastic. The only thing I wish could be added would be the ability to change the weight itself. They attach seamlessly to the Gym-Monster and instantly elevate the feel of your workouts. I’ve noticed more stability and confidence in my lifts since switching to these. For anyone looking to get the most out of their Speediance setup, this is a smart, worthwhile upgrade.

They disconnect often. Save your money and buy a foot pedal instead.

I think they are great and perform as advertised. They are a must for use of the Gym Monster 2. I know a lot of people have complaints on line about these malfunctioning. I have not experienced any of those problems.

Updated: They are solid and well made. Good grip and weight. The whole design looks like it was made by Apple…. Bluetooth good too since the latest software update. I was surprised that you can only turn the weight on/off, but not dial it up/down as you can do with the ring - but if you’re not looking for this kind of function, you will enjoy these.
