Worth it
Great mats! My daughter does ballet and she uses them for turns, jumps and eventually pointe. She may need to add some Marley on top of these cushion mats but these work great on the meantime

Decent!
This kind of reminds me of a yoga mat or the mats that people put under their workout equipment. It's textured and kind of rubbery so it's not super smooth like the floors at the ballet school, but it works! It gets the job done. My daughter is on pointe and she said it's good for her to practice, but since it's not as smooth as the regulation floors it's not ideal for certain things BUT it's still better than the tile we have in our exercise room. It's definitely not marley floor however, so if you're looking for that you should keep looking!

Not a Marley Dance Floor – Just an Oversized Yoga Mat
***This product description is deceptive ***"SERABETTO Portable Dance Floor Mat - Marley Dance Floor, 6mm Thick Non-Slip PVC Dance Flooring for Ballet and All Dance Styles – Perfect for Home, Studio, and Events."is NOT actually a "Marley" dance floor. Instead, it’s a rubberized yoga or workout mat. We purchased this for our dancer, who competes on Marley floors, but what arrived was essentially an oversized yoga mat like those found in a 24-hour gym.The product itself is well-made and durable, but its usability is limited. Because it arrives rolled up, it needs to be laid flat for a day or two to settle properly. Otherwise, you’re left with a noticeable hump on the edge, which obstructs a smooth workout surface.

Perfect As A Summer Outdoor Yogamat
I got this for the warmer seasons so I can throw it down and do yoga outside whenever and wherever I want to without preparing a whole space and struggling to maintain a bug-free zone. It works great for that (for me, who is just over 5' tall). I opened it, cleaned it with a mild spray cleaner (it may appear still wet in my pictures), and put it over top if tall overgrown grass and layed out in the sun and did yoga on the mat. No need for any mattress, as it is quite comfortable to do yoga right on it; probably for headstand and maybe for clown pose then a blanket would do. It is fab and really worthwhile for me. I easily roll it up after and set it under where rain doesn't go. Time will tell how this large and wonderful outdoor yogamat (for me) holds up!I am unclear on which side is supposed to be facing up, but I liked it how my pictures show.

Not for pointe practice - more of a workout mat
The picture is misleading because it shows a dancer in pointe shoes. leading you to think this has a smooth marley finish. However, it has a bumpy finish like most workout mats and generates a fair amount of grip and friction. I would not recommend it for pointe because it would most likely tear up the satin.Pros:Comes with a carrying case, plus the mat is not too heavyThe mat is 6mm thick, which provides some cushion for practicing small jumps. It is more substantial than a typical yoga mat, and the slip resistant bottom seems to hold it in place while you are moving.Neutral:Size. It is just big enough for my portable ballet barre, and I am able to do a respectable warm up. However it is not big enough to do even the smallest traveling step as an adult.Con:The bumpy finish. :( :( :( Too grippy to practice ballet turns even in flat shoes. Not suitable for pointe practice that involves anything more than a simple releve.

Great for any kind of workout!
I ordered this to use for pilates and yoga in my basement so I don't have to keep my body on such a small mat area, and I love it! I feel like I can spread out and its a very comfortable place to land! It is very thick and even on concrete it feels nice and soft. It is very thick durable rubber, I think it will last a very long time! It could also be a great base mat for an exercise bike or treadmill. Its a bit pricey, but for me I think its worth it!

Good Dance Mat
I liked this portable dance mat. It was nice that I could roll it up and take it with me. It is a bit heavier for smaller dancers though. The one minor gripe that I have with the dance mat, and this is likely due to the material, is that the ends do tend to roll up a bit unless you leave them down for a while. Also, it feels like there is an oil or something on the mat when it was originally shipped so a good wipe-down doesn't help. I do recommend also leaving it open for a while to air out initially.
