Pretty good for thickening soups, stews, and coating patties
1 unit will suffice a couple's or a single person's cooking needs. Families will need more. I bought this since I have a sensitive gut and arrowroot powder is a great alternative to corn flour as a thickening agent. This one does the job well, I have made more than 15 veg cutlets in just one spoonful of arrowroot powder and also used the same qty for thickening pumpkin soup, and chicken curry. The question is how much of it could be adulterated, to which I don't have an opinion.

Confused with cassava powder
I doubt if this is arrowroot powder or cassava powder being labeled as arrowroot powder since the arrowroot powder is very fine but this is grainy and doesn't gel well.
