Perfect for baby bums
The media could not be loaded. Been using this on my little one since birth and it works so well. I use it as a preventative cream for diaper rash, chafes under her neck and the creases in her legs, and also as a topical cream for eczema. It works well for all!

Heals dry, sensitive skin
This stuff is pretty stinky (it's just the nature of it) but it's the only thing we use for our girls' dry skin (we have a 6- and 8-year-old). After years of trying all kinds of lotion for sensitive skin (we could find nothing that didn't burn), this stuff works beautifully. And it heals their skin to boot! The smell also dissipates - we put it on at nighttime and can't smell it by morning. My older daughter has said, "Aren't you glad you finally found a lotion that works without hurting our skin?" Yes - yes I am!

great stufff!!! fabulous for cracked skin!
We use thus for everything. Great for cracked skin from dryness. Great for minor burns, rashes, insect bites.Everyone in our family has one in the bedside table.Dogs think it tastes yummy straight from the jar/tube or from your skin. It is non toxic-even in large dosesThe only real issue I have with the product is that it attracts dirt even when absorbed by the skin. My heels and knees are my biggest problem and I fo really have to scrape them when showering.

fast rash relief!
Great deal. Wish I hadn't bought a bull pack of Destin. My baby boy was having a small rash and using Destin was helping but not by much. We asked our pediatrician and he recommended A & D and the rash went away pretty quick. We got both this one and their blue pack, but we find this one is better on my son. The tub is a better deal, especially if keeping at changing table at home, the tubes we keep for the diaper bag and travel.

This stuff is great for preventing diaper rash AND bed sores on bed-bound ...
This stuff is great for preventing diaper rash AND bed sores on bed-bound patients. I use it with every change for my wife, and no bedsores yet! But, both of the tubs I have ordered have a large air bubble in the ointment, making me wonder if these are cheaper because they are factory rejects because they aren't full. Since the NET weight is 1lb, I can't just weigh it. I'll have to wait until I have an empty tub to weigh and then weigh the next one I order to see if it's truly full. I buy this instead of WalMart's Equate brand, because Walmart is usually out-of-stock. Ounce-for-ounce, this product is a better buy - IF I'm truly getting 16 ozs of ointment, otherwise it's value compared to Equate is questionable.

Vaseline + lanolin = a happy baby bum
According to my mother-in-law and my pediatrician Desitin is the best baby butt cream, but I dislike it's pasty white disgustingness. This ointment goes on smooth and protects my baby's bum. It says it's 'preventative' and directs to use for EVERY diaper change... However, I only use it when his bun gets a little red, and it clears up within a day or 2 max. *On a fairly irrelevant side note, it has the exact same scent as Desitin, which I find odd. What is that, the designated baby butt cream scent?

AMAZING for soothing rash and cracked skin.
Miracle product! My son gets a very painful rash & cracked skin when he has a soiled diaper on for too long (two hours), and it becomes painful to wipe his butt. I would put A&D on after that, and it soothes him right away, and the redness and pain is gone in a couple of hours. This is a life-saver and must have. I bought it together with Aquaphor before he was born, and from the very beginning, A&D was a lot more effective with rashes, Aquaphor is better suited for weather-induced dry skin, but not diaper rash.

Great for preventing diaper rash
I've been through 2 kids with this stuff, and I swear by it. I use this at almost every diaper change as a method to PREVENTING diaper rash. I think that's important to note, as I would not use it to TREAT diaper rash. For that I only use triple paste. However, to keep baby's bottom from getting to that point, this stuff works great, no offensive smell and you cant beat the price for the size of the tub.
