SHOKZ OpenComm2 Open-Ear Bluetooth Headset, Noise-Canceling Mic

Best phone headset ever! I have had three AfterShokz/Shokz OpenComm headsets and each one has been better than the last. I wear them all day and even most evenings. I have two still in active use. The OpenComm the best of them, with the best sound and USB-C charging. I had to replace my old favorite, a Shokz OpenComm, because it got too quiet to use after about 4 years of heavy use. I listen to podcasts, videos and have numerous phone conversations throughout my day. It is used almost constantly for something. The OpenComm2 was immediately a lot louder (useful in a noisy car) but the USB-C charging was initially a stumbling block for me. I am not able to open the charge port cover with a fingernail to save my life. I loved the easy way the charge cable attached to the previous magnet-powered charge port. It was basically a flick of the wrist to attach. I understand why they went with USB-C, but the port cover (a necessity) resisted all my efforts to lift its cover without a knife or tiny screwdriver. I discovered that the tip of a USB-C plug could open it pretty easily, but I don't know how long that will last until it wears down. They really need to enlarge the totally inadequate tab on the end of the port cover so that it can be opened easier. Other than that, this is the most perfect headset I have ever owned and I have owned a couple dozen over the last 30 years. I forget I even have it on most of the time and the sound quality is very clear. Even more important is the sound clarity for the person on the other end is exceptional, even when I am in a noisy environment. It is the most effortless to use and the highest quality of them all.

If you are thinking of buying, you should definitely spend the extra money for this set of headphones. The product is light weight and does not bother my ears. The boom mic is excellent. My wife always complained about being able to hear me on my old (other brand) of headphones. I tried calling in the car wash and the other end could not hear all the racket that was going on with the blowers and spray nozzles. Even took out most wind noise, standing outside in the wind. Comes with a nice case, battery life has been great. I have been able to go 3 to 4 days listening to music and talking. The app is nice but does not have a lot of options for EQ. Pretty much music or talking are your two options. I have not had issues with it vibrating my face off when talking to people on the phone. And like I said tried it in the car wash and was able to hear the person on the other end just fine. The music volume is pretty loud as well. I run it as low as I can and it is a little loud sometimes to hear things in the room. Connects instantly when turned on. Definitely worth the money. Only complaint would be the pictures in the product description are a little different than the actual device. Mine uses USB-C to charge not the magnetic charger.

I got this headset for work after trying several other noise cancelling / "great for work calls" comparably priced headsets and I am NEVER going back to any other style. It's light weight, it doesn't fall off my head if I have to look down. I have had it on for hours now and it's barely noticeable. The sound is super clear, no one has had any issues with my noisy background. The only thing I don't like is that the back strap is rigid and not adjustable, I have a tiny noggin and it sticks out an inch past my the back of my head. But even with that issue, still love this headset!

We are 3 months in right now and it seems to disconnect occasionally, just turned it on a minute ago and it said no device detected .. so I turned it off and back on and then it was able to connect to Bluetooth. The mute button on the boom, when you press it to unmute, sometimes it doesn't unmute even though it shows unmuted on the phone, and I have to disconnect it and connect it again for it to actually record my voice and send it to the person I'm talking to. Also this is a pretty expensive unit and I figured you would have more than two audio options in the presets for the EQ. That's something they're screwing us on. If you could do it for the other type without the boom, why can't you give us the same options. The boom is holding up flipping back and forwards so far but I am extremely happy I bought the extended warranty because there's no way this is going to hold up for years. The pros, battery life is pretty good and when it's working, it's working. All right, deuces!

best pair of earbuds ever never fall out my gear stays charged all day forget I have them on Cons when you lay down on your back they're not too comfortable it would be nice if they were adjustable but other than that they're the best ever if I have to buy more in the future they will always be this brand another positive thing about him you can pair two devices to them I have my phone and my computer paired to them. sound quality is great microphone picks up extremely well I am using them right now

Great product. Bought a second one for my significant other and she loves it too. Only caveat is that it is difficult to hear in noisy environments , I forget I am wearing it it is that comforatable

Noise Cancelling is not the greatest with a Z Fold 7. My boyfriend has the same headset bought a few days apart and his Noise Cancelling works great. He has an older IPhone. Mines doesn't work at all. Other than that everything else is good.

Pros - lightweight, well built, feels premium, super light, fits well - mic quality is very good - mic noise cancellation is extremely good (e.g. high wind, can use while biking) Cons - sound quality is really subpar, might be as good/better than other bone conduction headphones, but compared to anything else its really just bad. podcasts are ok to listen to, but music is just depressing, it sounds like you're listening to your favorite songs while you're on hold from a call center :(

Microphone stopped working after 3 months

These are by far the best headset for a trucker, noise cancelling is phenomenal, crystal clear sound and very comfortable, only negative feedback I have is that I wish the battery life was longer, lasts 7-8 hours of continuous use and my work is 12-14 hours

Genau das was ich mir davon erhofft habe! Mir ging es weniger darum, alle Nebengeräusche noch hören zu können, sondern um den Tragekomfort eines Headsets, was nicht auf dem Ohr aufliegt. Genau hier punktet das Headset für mich am meisten. Ich trage es täglich mehr als 10 Stunden, und bei JEDEM Kopfhörer, egal wie leicht oder gut gepolstert taten mir irgendwann die Ohren weh. Hier nicht. Das einzige Manko ist die Passform, es gibt keinerlei Anpassungsmöglichkeiten, was das Produkt einerseits sehr robust macht für seine Größe, aber auch dazu führt dass es nicht perfekt anliegt wo es soll, und dadurch etwas Lautstärke verloren geht. Da ich es jedoch ausschließlich für Meetings und ab und zu ein bisschen Musik im Hintergrund nutze, ist das prima über die Lautstärkeregelung zu beheben. Akku hält fast den ganzen Arbeitstag, ist aber auch locker innerhalb der Mittagspause wieder vollgeladen, wenn man mal wirklich 10 Stunden lang quasseln muss. Nur zu empfehlen!

Bought these as my work issued Yealink pair were giving me a headache every day. I wear glasses and the headphones squeezing my ears and glasses into my head for long hours daily was awful. I love them. The sound is great, I can still hear everything going on around me, and I can much more easily manage the volume of my own voice when I speak to clients. Battery life is great so far and they're SO comfortable! I feel like i have nothing on! Would but them again a thousand times.
