The new Range Rover with the BMW Twin-Turbo V8 is one fantastic SUV with new battery technology and a lot of electronics and other systems demanding a healthy dose of voltage and amperage. Even though this high-tech SUV has very smart battery monitoring systems, having it connected to this CTEK every night is just peace of mind. One small inconvenience is you won't be able to lock the vehicle when the engine hood is open - for some reason they programmed the alarm system this way - but I ended up finding a way to safely route the wire when the hood is closed down so no issues. If the Range Rover isn't driven in 4 days, it automatically enters in sleep mode but the CTEK will take a few more days to enter into the last stage (last LED lit) of just varying inputs and testing. A must have battery charger/maintainer for any modern vehicles.

Lithium batteries can lose their charge over time when parked for extended periods, particularly when its cold. Modern cars never sleep, there's always a small current drawn. The CTEK keeps the battery charged and its connector can be configured to allow access without unlocking the car or opening the trunk/hood; many cars require elaborate procedures to unlock the car and access the electrical system to resurrect the vehicle.

I purchased this charger, as a replacement for a genuine Porsche charger, the fact being that the Porsche charger had to be restarted manually, if the power was lost. And if one is away from home for months, this obviously doesn't work, while this model restarts automatically.

This is a very high quality charger. Bought it for my wife’s BMW’s. The indicator lights indicate the battery condition and various stages of charging. The instructions explain the function of the charger well. All components appear to be very high quality. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Nice carrying case as well.

When my golf cart Lithiums were run completely down and BMS put them in Protection mode I ordered this to try to get them reset. I'm not sure the reset button actually works since it did not do what it said it would while resetting, but I did eventually get my batteries back to full charge. It's very small and easy to store in my RV so glad I purchased it.

I bought this for my BMW F-90 M5 . It worked as advertised, I left on for >24 hrs. When I first looked all lights were illuminated. And ma battery was reading 13.88 VDC.

Great value and I recommend highly for anyone with a Porsche 992 that has a lithium battery installed.

I bought this trickle charger for my new bmw m4 for when I’m away on holidays as the replacement battery is 2800$ plus tax, thought I’m deffinetly gonna take care of it, so I’ve had it on the charger for last 2 weeks and it appears to be doing what’s it’s supposed to. Great price considering BMW will try sell you the exact same one just with their logo on it for 300$, literally double the price. I didn’t have to select any modes or anything, just hooked it up, plugged it in, and it went right to work.
