I have used EVPAD devices (the EVPAD 10P and now the 11P) since early 2024, and I’ve been surprised by how powerful and functional they are. I first bought my mom an EVPAD 10P as a gift because I wanted a smart TV device that could replace our overpriced and useless TV subscription. I’ve always believed that smart TVs are the future - being able to watch everything on demand is just so much more convenient. But what impressed me was how these devices (the 11P and 10P) go beyond just being a TV box. They’re practically mini Android computers, which makes them even more versatile.Originally, I was going to get the same model for myself, but just before making the purchase, I found out about the EVPAD 11P. Since it was the latest version, I figured I might as well go for it. After using it for a while, I can confidently say that this upgrade is worth it. The overall experience feels smoother, and the interface is much more user-friendly. Navigating through menus is easier, and everything just flows better. The device also has improved connectivity, making things load faster and work more seamlessly. While these changes might seem small on paper, they make a noticeable difference in everyday use.One thing I was slightly disappointed about, though, is that the RAM and storage weren’t upgraded much. The 11P still has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is more than enough for its main purpose as a smart TV device. However, I was hoping for a little more, especially since I like experimenting with my devices. I’ve been playing around with turning 11P into a simple Android gaming station, and while it works fine, extra power would have been a nice touch. That being said, the new processing chip helps with performance, and the overall speed and responsiveness are great. It is also great that this device is running Android 12, a more capable system.I’d say the EVPAD 11P is a fantastic device. It delivers a better user experience than other smart TV devices, making it even easier and more enjoyable to use. If you’re looking for a reliable and feature-packed smart TV box or something that goes beyond just streaming, this is a solid choice.For anyone who is interested in reading my review of the EVPAD 10P for better and extra context:This is an amazing device that can be used as a smart TV and many more. I was recommended to purchase this product as I was searching for a new way to TV entertainment for my mom. After I showed her this product and played around with this little device for a couple of days, I fell in love with the extreme functionality of this smart device. I thought this device would be a great alternative to a smart TV system (which this is). However, I was stung by how much this product over-delivered over my expectations. This is literally a portable computer (running on Android 10) that can do anything, especially when it includes two USB ports where you can attach a keyboard and mouse. The fact that this device is running on an Android 10 system means that this device can do anything like being a smart TV that links to any major or minor video streaming platform that can be accessed on a normal Android phone and freely access the Internet. You can technically play intense mobile games on this device with some operations. This device also supports screencast over Wi-fi (which will be a great add-on to old office projectors and screens). I am totally surprised by the performance of this device and will probably buy an upgraded version of this device for myself in the future so I can use it for more purposes like doing simple office computing.However, I was also expecting extreme performance from this device because of its pricing. Since I paid more than $200 for this small device, it is somehow not surprising that I'm getting all those functions. In the future (perhaps on more powerful models), I would appreciate if there could be a USB-C Thunderbolt on this device and this device can support touch-enabled screens. I can see how this would be an affordable office companion that will revolutionize those smart screens that do not have a smart built-in computer.

This compact box is versatile. The installation is easy. I like its capability of seamlessly searching for videos (movies, TV programs, music videos, etc.) from all sorts of online public video resources. This makes it especially useful for people not familiar with Internet to search for favorite programs. I like its voice search function, it recognizes English and Chinese. I also like it providing both AV and HDMI output connections, and I found it nice to use the box to play my favorite movies stored in my hard drive and SD card on the big screen TV.

Excellent product! My kids are so excited! Easy installment! Best costume service ever!

I have to return my purchase. Disappointed.

When I first got the product, I wanted to return it because the remote sometimes didn’t work. But I decided to contact customer support using the info in the setup guide. They explained that the remote starts in infrared mode and needs to be paired in Bluetooth mode during setup for better performance—I had skipped that step.The next day, the EVPAD suddenly reset to factory settings and I had to set up the network again. Support told me it was likely a power adapter issue and sent me a new one, which fixed the problem. These are definitely areas that could be improved, and the packaging instructions could be clearer—especially about the remote pairing. Still, the customer service was very helpful and responsive. After everything was set up, my family, especially my grandmother , really enjoyed using it. Overall, the product and support have been great.

Better than the Evpad 10 but by not much. I wish that it do better, so have some lagging.

However, we had some bad luck at first because Spectrum didn’t seem to support it well, and Venus showed Code 708. Later, I found out it was because the ISP was blocking Venus, causing it to fail to load photos, whether using Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Just as I was about to return it, I contacted customer service and learned that in some parts of the U.S., you need to find and download the Venus U.S. version from the Venus App Store, as the regular Venus might be blocked. After I updated to the U.S. version, the issue was resolved, and it’s been stable ever since. While it was a bit annoying at first, it wasn’t hard to get used to once I adapted.

Following technical support, my EVpad 11 is now functioning optimally. The technician provided exceptional assistance. Please contact support if you encounter any difficulties.
