The device and APP are used for Sleep Apnea Aid
The sleep monitor is great! I used it for a couple of days now with no complaints or issues. Most important is the product supplement to CPAP data. The SleepO2 is actually amazing and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to monitor their SpO2 levels and heart rate. If my SpO2 falls below a set threshold, the device will vibrate so that I subconsciously readjust my sleeping position and breathe better. This gives me the peace of mind that my blood oxygen saturation level never goes below a potentially harmful level. The Smart ring vibration sensor is flexible and should fit different finger sizes. It is the most convenient and comfortable device on the market that I know of. Battery life is as advertised or slightly better - I can get over 15 hours of monitor time on a charge.

Chinese Junk . Avoid at all costs.
I wanted to like this device. I was told ( albeit by a dentist) that I have sleep apnea. With the Fitbit charge 3 having issues , I decided to buy this , especially since it claims to measure both the blood oxygen level as well as heart rate. Now, I am otherwise a very active person . I tend to work out 5-6 times a week on my treadmill for 60-90 mins with rolling hills at inclines from 0-7.5% and speed of 3.5mph . I first wore this device at night and after it buzzed 5 times in an hour and showed my oxygen level varying wildly from 97%- 83%, I removed it . Next day, I was even more concerned about my health when it was showing the oxygen level of under 90 and heart rate that varied between a high of 75bpm to a low of 50 beats per minuteeven when I was walking inside the house doing chores ... pace maker time, I would think. Then , I decided that maybe a solid workout would help my health... so here goesStart at 68bpm.. spo2 at 83%...The heart rate went down to 50 and then up to 110 bpm .. to compare, during my regular workouts , the Apple Watch varies from 71-74 bpm at rest to 110-120 at high stress .. at 130 , I try to reduce incline or speed ..Now the fun began,At 32 mins workout , I got the most accurate reading as I kept my hand as still as I could7.5 incline , 3.4mph - spo2 97%, heart 108bpmAt 33 mins 30 sec , same incline and speed , spo2 89% (wild buzzing) , heart 64 bpmAt 34 min, same incline , slower 3.4mph spped spo2 88%, heart 50 bpmIn short , in a span of over 2 mins, while doing quite strenuous exercise, my heart rate fell by over 50 bpm and the oxygen level in my blood fell by 10% or more likely, this device is junk . It gives accurate reading occasionally but other times, it’s wildly off the mark even when you try and keep your hand extremely stable as I did by holding on to the treadmill support bars. It means even at night, it could quite possibly give you a false reading because your hand moved too much or you got up to go to the bathroom.I would caution against wasting your money on this. Better buy an Apple Watch for heart rate and once Fitbit sorts out their issues with charge 3 , try that.

Know your numbers
This is an awesome product. It does everything it says it does and well. Amazing tool to monitor your nighttime oxygen levels and to warn you before they drop too low. I was on night time supplemental oxygen prescribed by my Dr. and now I am not because this device warns me ahead of time. Love it...It's a life saver...great customer service too. I highly recommend this product..What could be better than not having to wear that stupid cannula around your face at night if you don't have to...Buy it, you'll like it...

Very comfortable, I forget I was wearing it. Great job showing data and things I did not realize.
I really do like this sleep O2 monitor. I have owned other O2 monitors, they look like a watch with a cable to the finger sensor. They are uncomfortable to wear at night which makes me not willing to wear it very often. The Sleep O2 if very comfortable, I forget that I am wearing it. My hands are large so I need to wear it on my ring finger or pinky. However, if it was larger, my wife would not be able to wear it. The setup instructions are very clear. I would suggest that the serial number sticker to be larger, we are an older target market. The Android App is very good, easy to use and very informative. It showed me data that I was not able to perceive before. You can use the magnify glass object, then expand the graph and or select a point and read the values at any time of the night, very well done! A very nice plus is that it monitors motion while I sleep. I can get the whole picture of my night’s sleep, thank you.

Oxygen meter and arousal system
This unit is self contained, worn on one finger only and does a great job for those with sleep apnea. The CPAP machines are fine but provide no feedback of oxygen levels nor are they necessarily maintaining the proper 02 levels. The Viatom SleepMonitor O2 solves that problem 100%. The unit has variable adjustable alert modes which provides gentle vibration to the finger that it is worn on. This vibration then arouses the sleeper (without waking them) just enough so they resume breathing again. We've gone from 77 drops below the 90% O2 level (as low as 76% O2 and this with the CPAP on) to only 17 drops and only to a LOW O2 of 89%. Combining this unit WITH a CPAP may be the best solution yet. We will continue to use and monitor to see what combinations work best. This is a great and very compact unit and only requires a smart phone to down load free app. The phone always allows for adjustments to O2 alert levels and intensity of the vibrationarousal levels. Soon if not already this unit will also be available to work with any computer, laptop, tablet, etc. so a smart phone will not be required...that will be the Viatom Sleep Tracker "Sleep O2 Pro". Next use this to monitor oxygen levels during the day and see how you are doing at home and at work. Just because you are "awake" doesn't mean your O2 levels are where they should be and the alert function will let you discreetly know with the low setting vibration. Proper breathing methods may just be your problem causing daytime tiredness, etc. Happy and safe sleeping and better days too!
